Now that's what I'm talking about.  The helmet is really sharp with the NT.  Ditto for the letters and numbers on the jersey.  I'm not sure what's on the shoulders.  Is it the position that they play?  I hope that you left the name on the back.  My grade is A+.

Why are we going back to recruits that were lost years ago?  The above thread of Adepipe and Shaw and two earlier postings re Frank Harris and McIvor.

I believe that the models were handed out at the groundbreaking ceremony in 2009 or 2010.  We also received a hard hat at that same ceremony.  I still have both of mine.

[28 on back of Heart of Dallas Helmets]

I like the chrome helmet also; especially with a green jersey.

But, the original post had to do with the #28 on the back of the helmet (which I missed).  That retired number belongs to Abner Haynes.  The first thing that I thought of was that Abner had passed away.  I'm pretty sure that hasn't happened or it's the best kept secret in the country.  I'm reasonably sure that a player from 2015 was killed in a car wreck but he wasn't wearing 28.
