Not until you read one that starts out like this: "Tony Mitchell was drafted in the first round by the _______'s! He was drafted after he spent two years at North Texas. [Then they'll include the Mizzou bit] Orignally a Mizzou recruit, academic issues kept him from the larger schools, and North Texas scooped him up." So after he gets drafted, our name will be moved up in the article.. But then they'll mention it right afterwards.

I've been wondering the same thing. Everything I've seen this year points to JimJim being the better player.

I think we're in pretty good shape if "missing the AP Preseason All American Team" is bulliten board material. This year is going to be sick.

He'll sometimes make random comments at the football players (especially the ones that are letting the students' smack talk get to them). Most of it's band inside jokes. Example, the drumline will try to all hit a note at the same time to scare the director. It never works, and the band, drum line, and director always have a good line. Sometimes he'll have a good one liner about drunk fans that try to sit in the band section's front row. Random things and such.

You know... Really annoying stuff like getting the band to join the cheerleaders, having the band do the way inbetween quarters (or during tv time outs), telling the band what song is next, telling the band to yell on third down after they play...

I did not. I was able to be there in person.

I'm just amazed at our ability to complain about anything and everything. I heard that we lost some 4* prospects because they didn't like the way the marching band sounded on TV.

It's nice... It's no Apogee or anything. But I'm sure the Tennessee-ians will be happy to be sitting in a moderately classy place at least a few times in their life.

Ask him if the Texas State Band Director needs to speak to a marching band of 350 members...

Let me shed a little light on the situation, so that way you don't make yourself look silly for criticizing. ESPN puts mics by the band. It's not our fault the ESPN crew decided not to turn down the mics that were by the band. Also, the "cheesy little Radio Shak PA system" is basically the most common PA system used by marching bands across the nation. So way to make yourself look like you know what you're talking about.

I didn't see that option when I was placing my Vegas bets...

Two RB's catching with a TD rec and a WR with a TD run... That's clever play calling! Also, responding to a blitz late in the 4th quarter with a screen to give us the huge TD at the end.. It's all Chico in my opinion.

How is MTSU getting votes, but North Texas is not? How does one article rank us #2 amongst mid majors and doesn't even mention MTSU? SO CONFUSED!
