[Chili Cookoff]

A celebration of the senses, the 15th annual North Texas Eagle Fire Chili Cook-off this weekend will be spectacular! With an array of spices, sauces, meats, and peppers, our contestants will battle to find the top chili and delight all who taste their inventive home-grown recipes. Judging is immediately after Mean Green March, so make sure to get your free sample before then! We'll be located on the south side of Victory Hall from 9am until kickoff.

[New North Texas Uniforms]

Nothing is forever. I know that we've been guilty of too much change but I really like the superimposed NT that the Alumni Association uses. I also like SOW but if they're not going to use it on the helmets then I like the AA NT. Anything but North Texas (which is fine above the numbers on the uniform).

As far as color, I wish that they'd take it a little darker than kelly green and copywright that color and name so that it didn't change.

I love the idea in theory but from a merchandising standpoint, it would be difficult unless you had clothing manufacturers buy in and produce the correct color for t-shirts, etc. It has been difficult finding the right shade of green the last couple of years and with kelly green you would think it would be easy!
