hope Scotty isn't ready to prove the coaching staff here wrong for not wanting him. that isn't a sign idea, just a thought. a lot of people think he didn't want to come here but the coaching staff didn't want him.

there is one bar that is predominantly "frat" that is tavern. Public house is about half and half. treehouse sees its share of diff people and Lou's is just one great diverse place. Fraternity members like myself who don't see anything wrong with people who aren't in frats loves to go to places like Lou's and hang out with a bunch of really cool people.

If we could find a way to get all the fraternity men that stay out right next to the student entrance we have an extra 500 in attendance. Every person counts

Really glad to say my friends and I stayed for the lala and ball state game till the beautiful end. Saturday getting to see the players so excited running up to the students who stayed for them was a great feeling. I won't mention the players name on defense who was at Tavern just in case he is 20 but him and a few other guys had some cool things to say about the attendance. They all said they don't deserve a crowd yet, that they haven't done anything in a near decade and that the season is young. They thanked me for being there but believe if they keep doing their job it'll happen. they have hope that the MTSU game will be "live" as they put it and that the student side will show up in full force. I can only hope that is true and I'll do my best to get my whole fraternity to go in and not just half of us. I know Carlos Harris felt differently with his tweet he put out but I think it's cool that the team isn' bitter about the attendance as of right now. I think if MTSU and Rice doesn't see a good showing by the students we may start to have a real issue here but as of right now I'm not worried about. Beat Tulane and lets pack Apogee. 6 pm kickoff in October without a game of the century going on at the same time. No excuses for October 12th. Clear your schedule now GMG

Completely agree, People can say all they want that we are just being negative but the fact of the matter is we had a Golden opportunity to impress the thousands of new students who will be there with some cool throwback merchandise and we release this. Oh well I will just buy myself the 70 dollar dri fit. Go Mean Green nevertheless.

Andrew Power had some great things to say about Brock last night, him and few other former players all believe Brock to be the best but he is a greater risk because he tries to make to much out of a play when he should throw it away or run out of bounds. Sounds like a guy with a winners mentality to me but that's just my 2 cents.

I am a Senior at North Texas and me and my "fraternity" brothers have been going to games since our freshman year. Not just home games but we have traveled to Clemson, bama, Lsu, and K state. It is so immature how so many of the alumni on here always want to call frat people out for the weak home crowds. That game tonight was so much fun for me and my friends and when I come on here to see how all of the mean green fans are celebrating you seem more obsessed over the crowd and the frat daddies who stayed out and tailgated. Do I ever come on here and blame the GDIs for not coming? No because it does nothing for our School. And I understand people who didn't rush a fraternity aren't defined by that and it goes the same way with rushing a fraternity. I have seen more greeks at away games than any other students combined so please stop. I get you hate SMU and so do I but you dont have to hate greeks here too. Staying in your dorm and watching is better than nothing. But the more people that get out and go to Pourhouse or other places helps perception of North Texas. IF the community sees more people getting excited for meangreensports it might spark some interest them as well
