Don't the current games allow the PS3/XBOX systems to upload the fight song into the game?
You'd think. At least on the Xbox 360, you can connect to a media server on your network and incorporate your own music from there, but you can't use media uploaded to the game console. Kinda screwy.
I don't know about the PS3.

As long as it's the right shade of eco-friendly green.....
But if it's all the same shade of green, who is really going to believe it's our fan base?

It would be great if Andrew and/or Eric could influence them to get the UNT fight song integrated.

somebody in the development team went to North Texas, as he has given instruction videos about the game before and used North Texas as his team to demonstrate with:
Wow. Looks like they finally incorporated Scrappy into the game (see end of video.)

Are we recruiting Omar Mays?

ya but its last year's uni's and fouts....was hoping that would be updated...maybe it will on final release
Good luck with that. When we went from the green helmets to white, they kept with green for an extra year...and that was just a uniform change. They also had WKU in a generic bowl stadium their first year in D1.

So what's the trick to getting all the little rubber pellets out of your shoes? :-)

$30 on Stonebridge.

I'll start. $20 on Stonehenge. Wait, no we're not @$&/ing playing Stonehenge. I mean $20 on Stonebridge.

I think that resulted in a safety and as such the green team shoudl have 15 points. just saying...
I was told that by one of our fine officials as well. The fumble bounced out of his arms and landed in the end zone. I did find that ruling a little strange in that usually a safety is scored against you in the end zone you are defending, but who am I to question. Not a big deal, but I can't remember if the extra two points would have helped us against the spread.

The next time I see Scrappy, I'll knock him down and check his feet for anatomical correctness. Who knows how far this treachery has gone.
Hmmm. Looks like Scrappy only has 3 talons...all up front! That's a problem.

Anyone else still sore?
Yep. My muscles tighten up as I sit here at my desk and then I get a dose of reality when I stand up. This forty-sumpthin fat boy isn't used to that much exercise.

Hey guys, I have read about a secondary video board that will be the same size as the Fouts Daktronics... and I have to admit that was a pleasant surprise to hear about... is that being built yet? Location?
You can see it in the first picture in this thread. It's in the northeast corner of the stadium near the alumni pavilion. If you look at it now through the webcam, it looks about done. All the video panels are in.

Jumbotron Jr. is now being installed.

I think I'm going to dump an Advil bottle into a candy dish and keep it close to me all day.

My wife bought one for me as a gift. She had my name put on it followed by "UNT 90 Grad".

Thanks for posting the pics. It's nice to see the front side of the board. Everything looks great. Did RV have any new information about the place, or what they have in store for this season?
The only thing I heard that was new to me was that the railing and stair trim leading to the upper bowl sections will be finished out in silver, not green like the north stands as someone else posted. He also said that the statue that is going in behind the south endzone is a statue of an eagle's chest and head donated by some former athlete's from the 50's and 60's and that the players will rub it for good luck when they enter the stadium. That was a more descript description of the statue than I'd heard before.

who won ???
The bad guys...I mean the White team.

After the final whistle sounded on the GMG.com Bowl, we had a very pleasant surprise from Rick Villareal. He invited us over to the bowl seating area at the new stadium. The quality of these pics is pretty crappy because all I had was my 3G iPhone, but nontheless, I think you'll get an idea of how great this stadium is. There were several of us that were feeling pretty giddy in there. Thanks Rick!!!

Jumbotron Being Installed?

They may be kicking balls at innocent women and children in the Family Fun Pack seats in the south endzone as well.
