  1. Next year maybe close the dorm cafeterias and tell the students to go to Apogee for their meal.
  2. They said it was done from the press box. Didn't sound like live audience.
  3. I would have expected nothing less. It's not impossible, just very improbable. Note that Vito referred to it as an entertaining quote.
  4. I guess that's what you get for trying to use being OOT as an excuse for missing a show. Internet, man. It's the wave of the future. The first half was just Hank and George talking because Mac was addressing the student spirit day turnout of about 600. Then there was a lot of the usual from Coach Mac (still good stuff) and then they had Zach Orr on. They talked some about the depth chart, but nothing stood out that's coming to mind.
  5. Just this week someone brought up your "I can't believe we are playing an airport" sign at the FIU game.
  6. You don't love your adopted player because he's better than the others. You love him because he's yours.
  7. Sounds great on the TuneIn Radio app.
  8. Did he change it or did he lose it to Kenny Buyers when it looked like Stock wasn't coming back?
  9. I think going away to college is kind of like taking the training wheels off of your bike. If you really weren't relying on on the training wheels to keep your balance, then taking them off is no big deal. If you were relying heavily on the training wheels to keep you upright, then you are likely to fall flat on your face.
  10. I'm starting a strict finger workout regiment to slim down my digits to mitigate the fat fingering on my iPhone. Why does that statement sound perverse after reading it? Why am I jumping on board with derailing a thread I started that should have been short lived?
  11. I was going off of the 2012 roster on meangreensports.com, which may or may not align with reality.
  12. ...Jarrvis Williams. So far, Dunbar and Olawale are still Cowboys. Make the Mean Green proud Wednesday!!
  13. Same to you, my friend. We'll miss you at Rudy's. Make lots of noise in Shreveport.
  14. Just bought my Allen/Southlake tickets. We've had kids both from Allen and from Southlake go on to play at North Texas, so I consider this an opportunity to look at future recruits. The lines are significantly shorter now. I had to wait behind 4 people for my tickets. By the way, the athletic center with the indoor practice facility and weight room was not part of the stadium build. That was built several years back. They built the stadium up to it, similar to how Apogee was done.
  15. Looks like Byrd tweeted that people could call him Two Dozens. His jersey number is 24. Stojkovic's is 13.
  16. Didn't the KRAM Weather Channel predict a dry game at FIU last year? Please stop hexing us.
  17. If I had to pick and had no dogs in the hunt, I'd take a $25 FBS game over an $8 Allen/Southlake game. In this case, I dont have to pick. Also, from looking at some of the Eagle Stadium schematics, it doesn't seem to have Fouts Disease. No track.
  18. I plan to buy tickets to that game over lunch. (My wife went by but wouldn't wait in the long line.). I need 7 tickets though.
  19. Okay. I'll buy that over your original not taking ourselves seriously argument.
  20. I guess I took his post differently. If LSU was playing UT, I don't think they'd move it to Austin either, point being that they'd try to keep it closer to home rather than just roll over and give the opposing team home field advantage. They wouldn't want to come to Denton because it would be too intimidating taking us on in our house. Let that sit between your ears.
  21. It's fun to dream, but I agree with you. The brunt of the storm should be well past by Saturday. Even if there are stadium issues after the storm, they'd find somewhere else suitable to play in southern Louisiana before moving the game to Denton.
