One thing leads to another. I'm just glad it led to lighting the tower green. No red skies at night.

I plan to camp out the night before the last home game of the season, as I did for the first. Has anyone camped out after a game and made it two nights? Just curious if I'd get flack from the man.

Me too. Left the wife at home to watch the kids and brought other people instead.

He wore the "new" ones last year at some events. I know he wore them for some of the MGI interviews.

Club level and hospitality suites are where it's at in the mean time. (Stating the obvious)

I like how he says we all missed the point yet admits he didn't read all the posts. One poster said that security was beefed up after the near pseudo-near streaker ran across the field in case a copy cat decided it might be a good idea to complete the task. I think answers the question. On a side note, I'm not sure Coach Mac ever actively encouraged rushing the field. He said he liked it after it happened. If he said anything close to negative, he'd run the risk of alienating some students.

Per the broadcast, some white kid named Austin Orr leads our defense. There was a nice graphic of him next to DT and Chancellor.

I say save the field rushing for wins over ranked teams (unless we're ranked) and wins that guarantee a bowl birth, IMHO. Regarding security, if most students felt it was an appropriate rushing moment, Security couldn't have stopped it. I bet most agreed that this win was important, but not big enough to warrant rushing the field. Last year, I don't recall field entrances being used. Looked like most were just dropping over the wall if I remember right.

After listening to the post game, it sounds like part of the game plan was to wear ULL down then capitalize. It worked, hence the production increase in the second half.

The article doesn't get that granular, but it does list that since 2006, here are the number of 6-6 bowl teams by conference: Big Ten - 9 SEC - 9 ACC - 8 Big 12 - 7 C-USA -6 PAC-12 -6 Mountain West - 4 Sun Belt - 3 Big East - 2 Mid-American - 2

Really? Per cbssports.com, there were 27 teams that went to bowl games with 6-6 records over the past two years. I think 0% is an exaggeration, IMO.

Can you expand on that theory or is that just a prediction?

Escaped Some Presidential Nonsense 2-night

I like to stay 'til the end. With an 8pm kickoff, game should end about 11:30 putting me home about 12:30. Not happening for my kids on a school night.

I'll try to do that next time I have a chance. I already have Lance Dunbar Dallas Cowboys included in the tag list, so I'm not sure if it really makes a world of difference. If you do a YouTube search just for Lance Dunbar Dallas Cowboys, this video appears in the top 10.
