  1. You sound like a wise and seasoned gentleman. I have a question with something I am struggling with myself. After putting someone on notice and they don't get back in line, what is the next step? Also, is the 1st notice written or verbal?

My gf just served my pancakes with reduced calorie maple syrup so I am eagerly awaiting your reply:)

as a professional gentleman of leisure, i always begin the notice in writing... for no other reason than to prevent a tedious conversation. When it comes to verbal exchanges, less is more.

I haven't experienced anyone not getting back in line yet, but if they refused, i would most likely "take action" and "correct" them.

you have my most sincere condolences regarding the anguish you encountered during breakfast.

  2. so get over your outrage.

thank you so much for being the voice of reason and subduing my anger.

sadly, i was under the impression that most people on this board kept up with muser humor. I was wrong and would first and foremost like to apologize to all north texas fans and their loved ones.

unfortunately, yesterday during my rampage i also put my wife on notice for making biscuits instead of delicious tamale-corn (as I requested) for my dinner side, one of my dogs went on notice for chewing on some pipe insulation in my back yard, and Famke Janssen is now on notice for not quite delivering the same effect in my pants during Taken 2 as she did during her Rounders-Xmen days.

  3. I was really hoping that this wasn't true but the card i got in the mail today says 10/31. this is such an awful idea and I wish the cameramen luck on trying to avoid showing the empty bleachers to the tv audience (which will be half the fans that would typically attend a saturday game).

i've done a good job of not expressing any opinions regarding the decisions of the athletic department... especially since this abomination of a basketball season began. but this has opened my eyes and therefore...

    unt athletic department

    YOU ARE ON NOTICE

  4. college football SATURDAYS are precious to me and the thought of having 6 of them this season makes my tailgaiting pants go crazy.

nobody showed up for ULL until deep into the afternoon and apogee was so empty in the 4th quarter the cameramen didn't even point to the crowd for touchdown reactions.

i'm not a fan of this idea or having to use one of my few vacation days to try and enjoy it.

  5. I shouldn't be so surprised at what I'm seeing. Benford and Evans are running the exact same scheme that Gerald Meyers used to strive for mediocrity with back in the 70's and 80's at Tech. I would hate to give Dickey any credit for (temporarily) turning that program around considering the sleezy way it happened.

Maybe we should see if Bob Knight wants to come out of retirement.

  6. I cannot believe the level of basketball IQ in this forum. Saying a kid should transfer, quit, lose his scholarship for being in a shooting slump?! Idiots. Jordan williams is 8-20 from 3 this this year and 18-48 from the field. I wouldnt call that shooting a high percentage. Even you basketball "experts" can figure that out. Our All-American isnt even averaging a double double this year, that would be deemed under achieving as well in my mind. But instead, you pick on a freshman who hasnt even played 5 college games yet, who is playing big minutes and taking shots that the team needs him to take and he will eventually make. The kid is in a slump, Brandon had a similar slump last year and nobody on this team is shooting well from deep this year. So point your finger at the freshman? This isnt right. If you will watch film and see his stats from high school, AAU and this year, you geniuses should also be able to figure out that he is the opposite of a defensive liability. Just becasue he isnt flying above the rim swatting shots out of bounds like Tony, doesnt make him a bad defender. Sure he isnt the athlete that maybe you all want to see, but he is one of the smartest kids on the floor and 9/10 in the right position to make a play. His form, his game and the kid himself are too good to struggle much longer and I can't wait to see you all jump on the bandwagon once it starts rolling. Do your homework before you post, u idiots.

    did you watch the game?

question... no info - other than his stat line of 2 fouls and 1 steal in 16 minutes against a school from the Lawton area.

this is just a simple case of a kid that needed a redshirt. have fun with your sports.
