  1. Waited until after 4th game to finally rant, but... this offense is stagnet, and the qb play is way below average.. its time for a change in both areas. Period. So frustrating.
  2. I can attest (first hand, and not from the stands mind you) how good this kid is. West Virginia finally got smart and gave the scholarship to Paul Millard. The same will eventually happen for Hunter. Someone is going to get a great player. Being an alum, it IS frustrating that they have not pursued him as of yet.
  3. Paul Millard is going to West Virginia this spring, without a scholarship, in hopes of winning over the starting spot. It was told to him that the prospect of that happening is high, as well as the prospect of them being able to give him a scholarship come fall. I can tell you that he is the best I have seen as far as decision making, accuracy, leadership and reading defensive coverages. It is a shame that he had as few offers as he did. Arm strength was the biggest question from what I understand. He can make all the throws, and puts heat on the ball when he NEEDS to. Which is something most young QB's don't learn for several years if ever. However, we have seen PLENTY of great college quarterbacks that did not have a cannon slinging the ball around. He is a great kid and undoubtedly will be a great QB for whoever he plays for.
  4. Its good to hear all of the feeback about our University. I have been around campus a number of times since graduation, and the growth is simply awsome. (its always after you leave it happens!) The new stadium is looking great, can't wait to get there for a game. I know its always been a big commuter school, but we still have to get a stronger following, and UNT pride, flourishing around the town and University... The story about the bar-keep getting mad about UNT chants pisses me off a little btw... Lets just keep wearing green and UNT stuff anytime we can and try to do our part to get the awareness and excitement up!! (sorry if that sounds sappy)
  5. I graduated in '98 so its been a while since being on the campus. However, I was just curious if anyone knows if it has changed at all? When I was there it was very much a non-factor that we were playing a home football game that week? I always wished that the school would be more proactive about drawing students' attention about the coming game, random pep rallies, giving away tickets, etc to get more people to the game? Just my two cents and curiosity. go Mean Green!
