    Looking back at the caliber of the Tech team I feel pretty dumb for being apart of rushing the court that night.......felt so right at the time though.

    Seen the effort he puts into recruiting and establishing relationships with his (highly sought after) targets and I'd feel comfortable calling him a great recruiter.

    I know the players will do alot of individual workouts at the practice facility. Also Ive heard that the backdrop/lighting in the Pit is unique from an on court perspective and Im guessing it helps to get acclimated.

    I normally can't stand the negativity on the board and avoid it because of that. But it is absolutely warranted today....time for a change.

    Im glad that in 11 years on the job you could point to non-conference home wins over the eventual 9th place in Big 12 OSU, and eventual 11th place in Texas Tech. Was Johnny a better coach? Probably. Better crowd? absolutely...but the narrative that Johnny was slaying powerhouses night after night in the pit is a joke...And just so I feel better about myself for saying that; I will say I like/liked Johnny and appreciated his years here

    Wait....I thought all JJ did was schedule quality non conference teams and beat any non elite schools with ease during his tenure at UNT? So you can't possibly be right. Must have been Benfords fault somehow right?

    Absolutely bewildered about how fired up people are at the relocation of a womens game to a site 5 minutes away.....

    Saw him at a Coppell bball game in December. Fanny pack was present then as well. Must be his thing

    Watched him play earlier this year. Was "ok" athletically, but can shoot the ball no doubt. Guyer was down three with 5 seconds left inbounding on sideline and opponent doubled Choate. After one pass he was able to get the ball, hit a 3, get fouled, and hit free throw for a crazy ending to a game.

    I think Williams is def college ready physically...He does force some stupid shots though which could have made the difference between a win and a loss tonight.

    Agreed. Jones is super talented but frustrating. I do think Mitchell and his game will compliment Jones game very well come December...just sucks being patient.

    I'll be out there with my family. They're Alabama fans since my mom graduated from there but I'll be in green. Tailgating is legit at Bryant-Denny, great atmosphere and tradition.

    Heard two rumors, both from people inside the program, for his quitting: 1) Upset that he was not starting. (no reason to quit) 2) Soon to be baby daddy Again both rumors so take it with a grain of salt.
