I was hoping to use SWA points and go there and back same day like I did for NO Bowl last year, but I don't think that will be possible. I guess I can now experience watching NT in a bowl game on TV for a change. As a 12-year season ticket holder, I hate that, but I just can't make it work to go and stay within budget. Bummer.

Yes, I found on the front end to be smoother, but I arrived much earlier than I did for SMU to catch the statue unveiling. There were two attendants scanning parking passes from the Bonnie Brae entrance. I was also stuck in there for about 45 minutes on the way out with a sleepy 8 year old. That is truly unacceptable, regardless of it being a full lot and everyone essentially leaving at the same time with a close game until the end.

The only concern I really had was that it would be nice if the blue lot entry had a separate line for passes versus those paying on game day. It seemed that the purchases would hold up the line for a bit, and then several would proceed quickly with just scanning and going.

And, a win here sets up the ability to go into Arkansas at 2-0 and start to really join the national conversation at that point depending upon the outcome.

The best thing will be having a whole new set of pictures of the stadium to look at that are not the opening game against Houston. 🙂

FWIW, at some point between yesterday when I last looked and now, tickets are now available online in sections 201, 202, 211, and 212 where they had not been shown as available sections before. I don't recall seeing those sections activated for online sales at all last week for the homecoming game, but I could be wrong. Looking at 207, there are much fewer seats showing as available now than last week at this time, and that section ended up fairly full (compared to normal standards) then. It seems to indicate there must be some pretty strong ticket sales.

Granted, I haven't been to too many NT games away from Denton, but that return at Georgia was my absolute favorite moment of any NT game I have ever attended.

I saw those while driving out to Mesquite this morning and had no idea what it was and assumed it was some training thing. That will be really awesome to see tomorrow. Can't wait.
