With good weather: 9,000-10,000
With rain or very cold: sub-6,000
Has the game time been announced yet? I thought I had seen noon somewhere but still see TBD on UNT and AAC sites.

You're probably correct.
A late kick and low 50-degree temps on a damp Friday night will not help. Let's be honest, SMU's parking situation sucks too. Mostly parking across US75 with long walks or waiting for a shuttle bus from their free lots on SMU Blvd or the DART Lot on Mockingbird. SMU asked for people to prepay for parking for their garages and lots, but don't link anywhere on their ticket site to where you can buy the prepaid parking.
I have always parked on the street in the neighborhood south of Mockingbird without issue going back to years of hanging out with SMU friends on Blvd before games. I hope that is still a good option tonight.

I will be there, but I feel like this is going to be the sparsest UNT crowd at an SMU game in Dallas since this most recent home and home series started with them.

When I sync football games to radio, I pause the TV right after the ball is kicked on the opening kickoff and unpause when the radio catches up to that moment.
Same usually. Yesterday I was using the Varsity app with Bluetooth to my sound system and was able to only pause a couple seconds on the ESPN+ broadcast to let the app audio catch up.
I had a friend that got me started with listening to all Cowboys games on radio while watching on TV in the 90s. I generally do that with all teams I care about to hear the home broadcast audio rather than "neutral" announcers. It's so much easier now to get all synced up with DVRs and so much through apps rather than broadcast tv and radio.

The announcers this week were not very good ... but they were MUCH better than the guys last week.
I always just turn that off and listen to Hank and Dave instead.

@BigWillieprobably still drunk from the Pearl Jam show last night
Anybody up for Applebees?
I was there last night too. One of my biggest regrets is getting greedy for profit and selling my front row tickets to see Pearl Jam at The Super Pit in 1993.

We must get this hire right. WE MUST!
Bring in another P5 guy who when things don’t go as planned will look down his nose at what he doesn’t have compared to his prior job, or who has never built a program and won, or a bland personality that has never had to sell his previous school to anyone to get what he needs and you’ll set us back to 2015.
@SilverEagle and his 50 plus years of Mean Green fandom will tell you the truth, we have a unique culture here that the next guy must appreciate and be willing to buy into.
Take 11 or so minutes and listen to this interview. This is the “Type” we need. Has built winning football, has won a national championship, sells hiimself, sells his school, sells his community and born and raised in Texas and lives and breaths Texas football culture.
In regards to his players: “We wanna put a ring on their hand and a degree in the other!”Rick
I know UNT will probably never go the HS coach route again (lessons harshly learned), but Chris Ross at Lovejoy would fit that bill too. Marcus Trice was one of his assistants last year before he left for his current gig at SFA.

As the late, great Ernie Zampese said, "One thing I'm finally figured out. If the play doesn't work, it's a bad call. If the play works, it's a good call."

I'm not sure if it is a factor, but I would think Texas Farm Bureau Insurance as a pretty long term sponsor may have something to do with not having Allstate as an option for being a sponsor or having the Good Hands net.

You should for sure call. I was ranked somewhere in the 900’s and my time is Wednesday at 9 am. You definitely should have gotten an email if you renewed or purchased season tickets
I called and was told Tuesday at 9 AM. They are apparently going to be sending out a second round of email notices since a number of people have been calling that they haven't received one.

Yikes. Will do. Thank you!

I haven't received any email about ticket selection. I just logged into my account, which shows my priority points ranking is 566 of 4820. I take it that would mean I should be far enough up the list to make a pick at some point. I triple-checked email and junk folder and have nothing. Guessing I need to call someone or email to check on what has happened with my notice?

I am sure you can sit almost anywhere when you get there. I sure there will be plenty of open seats on the SMUT side.
I may be heading to that side until the shadows reach on the east side. The first quarter is going to be miserable.

On a somewhat related note, I went to Rally House Old Town in Dallas this weekend to try to get a couple shirts for the kids. They had only adult sizes and baby with no youth size shirts at all. An employee there told me that Euless was the go-to store for UNT with a greater selection.
I was hoping to get new white t-shirts for this weekend, so here's hoping the extra expense of overnight shipping from shop.meangreensports.com will get them to me in time. Sometimes Dallas feels so close but so far away from Denton. 🙂

If UNT starts 3-0 and 4-0, then (barring horrible weather), not only will we see the first Apogee Stadium sellout, but we will see the first two Apogee sellouts in a row.
