Sam Houston just lost to an abysmally bad UTSA team today. Hoping the boys can take care of business on Tuesday.

This should push us into the Top 100 NET. We've been wavering back and forth between 103 and 104 for awhile now.

My crew is planning on making the trip to Vegas. Could be between 10-20 of us depending on if family drives in from California. Very excited about that one.

An NAIA school is not... appetizing. But I'm still going to go and bring people.

I did the legwork for us. #14 Florida is off all weekend. Let's make it happen!

This sucks. I was going to make the drive from Burnet County and catch the game with old school friends.

Already appears that some of the assistants are being held out too, including their associate head coach.

My guess is Frisco or First Responder.

Other than the loss at the end, that game is one of my favorite memories as a student at UNT. My friends and I had a blast in the monsoon, tailgating and cheering at the game. There are certain friends of mine that will bring up that day any time we get the chance to catch up.

This is not at all far-fetched. I would even go as far as to put it at like 75% likely if Littrell is let go by NT.

The Buffalo game being on a Monday night really sucks for us out of towners. But I will be making the trip up for the Nevada game and bringing a group! Hoping for a huge crowd for both games.

Not only will I be rooting for UNT, but if a ranked UTSA rolls into town to play at Apogee, I'm canceling plans with the family and driving 5 hours to Denton to be at that game.

(Apologies if this was already discussed in another realignment thread) So we have a boatload of openings now in our future schedule. We had SMU scheduled nearly every year until eternity. We also had Home and Homes scheduled with Memphis and Tulane (The game at Memphis next year will presumably be played). Who do we schedule? Maybe we can get some of those road MWC games that some of us wanted for selfish reasons. I'm sure Wren is burning up the phones. 2023 is coming up soon and many teams already have full schedules for several years out.

I think/hope that Perry is going to take CUSA by storm. I just have this feeling he is going fill Hamlet's shoes nicely and pick up where he left off.

Here at the game... and I'm just so tired of being embarrassed. it's exhausting year after year.

I think we HAVE to accept an invite if the MWC comes a calling. We can't afford to get left behind in the worst FBS conference. UAB is leaving. It's happening. Marshall and Southern Miss are more than likely leaving. UTSA picked a good time to get hot and they are probably leaving. We can't be left out in the open in a non-ESPN conference with the rest of the teams nobody wants and nobody wants to pay for. We have to take the risk. The MWC have similar budgets to us and are far more committed to Athletics than the likes of Florida International and Middle Tennessee. We need the prestige boost and we need better competition to sharpen our own teams. And most of all, I want road trips to Vegas over Birmingham. And Laramie over Murfreesboro. And San Jose over Bowling Green. There is a huge fun factor that can't be ignored. Let's quit being the bottom of the barrel and start the process of trying to move up in the world. Go Freaking Mean Green. I'll see you guys and gals in Colombia.

I think we are actually only missing 2 games at this point. At least one of those is probably a D2 Exhibition to kick off the season.
