  1. Watching Seth on the sidelines every week you can tell that it’s emotionally very difficult for him to do this. It’s frustrating, he gets very annoyed and I think that he was tearing up the other day too. It’s difficult to watch, and I know we all want better for him.
  2. I don’t know .. but let’s win that thing for the third time this year and go into a new conference as a contender to start!
  3. Wren knows what he is doing…. But it ain’t over till it’s over and the ink hasn’t dried yet so I am still hopefully and cautiously optimistic. a new season with a new coach and a new conference would be incredible and changes everything.
  4. 2 things here... first, I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with Javior all season and this is the first time it made sense. Drez doesn't command attention yet like Mo did leaving all that pressure on Hamlet. AGW, that was a great point and makes so much sense to me now. I know that there is more to it than that, butwhat a puzzle piece I was missing. Second.... My old man played BBall at OU... He is absolutely stoked about Mo and gives me Sh*t about it constantly. I am happy for the young man and hope nothing but the best for him! I wasn't mad at Woolridge, in fact I still follow and am stoked his career is still going. I fee the same about Mo.
  5. Loved the comment by Ruder at the end... Going to come to North Texas and win a lot of football games the next few years... Heck yea
  6. Welcome aboard!!!! North Texas State on the card......
  7. Then Monday is the day... I hope he stays and gets some additional schooling and another year of mean green football...
  8. I saw the qbs play last year and combine we had one ok player... I don’t know anything specific about Gilmore but I know I was high on him as a transfer with a lot of eligibility left. what we saw last year was not good, Gilmore looks to me like he could shake it up a bit!
  9. Unless I’m an idiot and Novil has already made his section and I missed it.... then it’s Gilmore I am stoked about.
  10. There are two players above all others that have me holding my breath going into 2021. The Kentucky transfer qb Amani Gilmore and Dion Novil... assuming he decides to ply another year. I can’t deal with another year of the Mean Green Bean and Gilmore looks like he could be a huge upgrade. Novil has a chance to be a monster with a good coach and a chip on his shoulder.
  11. the anticipation is killing me! This has been a great day!
  12. if I had to pick one... I think I miss this guy...
  13. Ah ha.... I suppose Its time to lock the gate
  14. Love the grey and the black unis... But this Green is by far my fave.
  15. I have been hoping for news like this all summer long, as have most of us I imagine. Somehow I was afraid that the NFL might have passed him by this year and that perhaps we would all be purchasing Toronto Argonauts jerseys or something! All of my fingers are crossed, though somehow I don't think Mason is going to need the help! Go get em Mason and Go Mean Green!
  16. Sorry..... I usually lurk... rants aren’t typically my thing....
  17. I think that the reasons here are not as cut and dry as many want to think they are, flatten the curve was great but now what is the goal? It is undefined as far as I can tell and zero virus is never going to happen so then what? Do we trust the overall reporting on this pandemic? Are the numbers really where they say they are? How does this virus impact young people? How does that impact compare to other public heath issues such as flu, drunk driving or STD's? How do those numbers break down on an age basis? Who is really at risk and what is that danger when compared to other risks that we are exposed to on a day to day basis? I don't feel as though these questions are being addressed by the information brokers at large. There is no reason that after 6 months we don't have reliable statistics on the pandemic that break down who is most impacted and we can't work as a whole to create policies to protect the most vulnerable in a logical way while allowing those at lesser risk to continue without continuing to weaken the economy, and generating more unrest. The impact of this situation is much greater than just public health or sports. I work in Hospitality and I will also agree that when Dallas sports are winning the city is a better and more vibrant place to be and it thrives as a whole. I have been lucky and have been able to keep my job, being at work every day during this time and not hunkering down at home can be stressful and frightening at times, but millions more people are being impacted by outside forces generated from no fault of their own and the lack of people being able to think critically and work together to create thoughtful and logical solutions that don't include "stay the f home" is frustrating and potentially more detrimental than the virus itself to a great many of them. I miss sports more than I can put into words and I can't wait to be front and center at Apogee again or screaming like a banshee when Hamlet lobs one up to Big Zach when basketball returns. This experience is frustrating and I want to do my part to slow the spread, I just can't for the life of me figure out what comes next or how best to help the many problems that are being created. I am enjoying the recent uptick in Mean Green football content now that camp has started!
  18. That is an amazing piece of art! well done! I for one hope that Wren and the AD decide to honor such a brave man and such a tribute to this university. I wonder if there is anything we can do to assist in promoting this move?
  19. Offseason is here ... the Dickey debate is back.... back in school we called the Bourbon Bowl the Darrell Dickey invitational and we loved it! That guy was good for the program and made us relevant. i am proud to have him in my school’s hall of fame. We are UNT and our future is bright. Dickey is part of our past and I’ll tell you what, it was fun to be in Fouts back then and i had.m a blast being a part of that past.
  20. Maybe Lane super secret recruited home too... did he secret hire Dickey at Ole Miss too?
  21. we got close once.... and he was pretty awesome... https://247sports.com/player/riley-dodge-56990/
  22. This is good news to me. I liked Yellock, but to get the best results I have to think that the new coordinators need to be able to "buy their own groceries" sot to speak... Langston leaving gives me hope though!
