Very impressive story, both about the invention itself and the team that developed it.
Congratulations to all!!

Latin? Did somebody mention Latin? I SALUTE YOU!!
His kid says, "The die is cast"...meaning he will defy his father and not eat Mexican. Instead he is taking the chariot, crossing the Rubicon, and getting some good Italian food.

If Yellock and Reffett think he will contribute, that is plenty good for me. Bring him on!!

This concept is new to me. Does it really do anything to enhance the image and prestige of UNT? Are the other schools involved Harvard, Dartmouth, Michigan, Rice, Stanford, etc., or places like Lower Whaleshit Community College, Easyfield Community College, East Carjackastan University, etc.?
Is this just another creative way to piss away university funds? How have employers reacted when presented with "certificates of completion" from this mode of academic pursuit?
So many questions. I admit that I find the concept interesting, but only as a means to refresh/update certain areas of personal academic interest.
ADDED AFTER SOME RESEARCH:
I reacted somewhat harshly to the article, for which I apologize. I still have questions but I concede that this endeavor has more merit than I saw at first blush.

I read that while MWC paid out $1million per school in broadcast money, while the AAC doled out $7million each.. Article also said that Airforce Academy is their first choice to replace U. Conn, which would open a slot in the MWC. If Falcons do jump does this vacancy offer an opportunity for UNT to move west, or as we better off staying put for 3 or 4 years when conference t.v. contracts expire and conference shuffling really begins?
The above song came running through my mind as I read wardly's post. That pretty much sums up my thoughts at this particular time.

Wow! What an inspiring story...teared me up a little. May God continue to bless the Littrell family; it is obvious He has a plan for them all.

As a long-time firearms user, I would reluctantly say NO. However, after reflecting on this question at length, I would take a noogie to the nuts in exchange for a Conference USA Championship and bowl win.

I'm looking for volunteers to surveil and protect these coaches from contact with nasty P-5s. I have three so far but need more to step up:

Can we get a position of the player or does that make it to easy?
I hear from a reliable source that he is middle-of-the-road, slightly left-leaning.
Oh, my bad, you meant what football position does he play! 🙂

I’m going to sift through the assistant pool in CUSA and see if anyone was a recent hire from Utah State.
I saved you the trouble...found him. Look for this guy on a conference opponent's sideline:

I attended a hockey game in Dallas way, way back, when ai was at NT. A friend took me. I want to say it was Dallas’ first hockey team, maybe a semi-pro team at the time. Also attended a hockey game in Beaumont when they had a team. Probably a Double A team. Just didn’t care for the game.
I think you might be thinking of the Dallas Blackhawks...they were a minor league team for the Chicago Blackhawks in a league called the Central Hockey League. It is understandable to me that you didn't care for it. I am not a rabid hockey fan myself, but I do follow the Dallas Stars closely. You are probably put off by the tendency for some games to get bogged down in defense, because that bugs me too. I prefer to watch offense with lots of shots on goal.

In my football, basketball, baseball only mind, hockey played anywhere is like “meh”.
I grew up about 90 miles east of Chicago, so I was exposed to hockey at an early age. I have fond memories of first seeing hockey in person when I attended some Dallas Blackhawks games after moving to Dallas for work. It is great fun pounding on the glass and hollering insults! Try it sometime and your interest level will likely increase.

He is definitely worth waiting for! A confidential source leaked a snippet of game film to me and this guy, when we get him in the fold, will be one helluva pass rusher!

More likely, the JUCO coaches are where his network of trusted, proven sources are.

How well do you think the "witches coven" (and the other members for that matter) are living up to this little thing below that they supposedly took seriously:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
How many of them recited the words and never heard them?
