This may not be what you are looking for but I thought it was significant. This picture is from the Beaumont Enterprise where UNT receives very little to no coverage. In fact, the photo appeared this morning but no writeup on the game itself. Just the caption under the picture. Anyway, I thought it was an excellent photo of Alzee, airborne!

Seriously, were the two guys in the slime green tights Tasty and Quoner? If so, I now understand.

UNT averaged 18,000 and some change. Not bad for 5-31 program after three years. Oh, it's amazing how Louisiana Tech pushed exactly 100,000 fans through the turnstiles for five games, averaging exactly 20,000 per game. How do they do that?

Myself and other oldtimers kept telling you guys that the name "Mean Green" came from the great defenses of the mid '60's. The "Mean Green Defense". Now, can we weld that into everyone's brain?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't think Lee Jackson is going to give 110% effort in helping UNT reach Tier 1 status. I really dislike what this man has done so far.

Do they stand around at practice and games, collect data and turn the data into pareto charts and fishbone diagrams?
