  1. I will not be traveling to another game as long as SL is the coach. Not worth my time, emotional energy, and especially my money (aside from maybe San Antonio because that’s more about the super easy getaway than the game).
  2. P5 conferences every time SMU calls and says “But…but…but…we have money!”
  3. Upped my number of seats to 4 for this year, and did so with no hesitation. It’s amazing how willing you are to spend money when the coach and team are competing for championships.
  4. Why would you doubt that? Last season was the exception and not the rule since Mac has been here. The two seasons prior we played at a much faster pace…last year we just had a roster that didn’t lend itself to getting up and down.
  5. How much confidence would you have if you were given 2nd team reps all off-season and then saw no opportunity to play even when the starter is clearly incapable of game to game (or year to year) progression. And that’s not just a SL issue, Mac did the same.
  6. Not really country, but I ask this question almost every Fall Saturday
  7. I would have run the fake spike. Just as likely to work as a dive that starts 6 yards behind the LOS…but far more entertaining.
  8. Oh no, this is a multiple dumpster fire. There’s plenty to burning garbage smell to go around.
  9. Littrell beating Memphis might forgive his sins, and ours too, because it would require the second coming
  10. This may have been his best game in three years? Well then, I rest my case. The guy threw two interceptions today, one of them a pick six to a back up cornerback. And take a look at his passing yards, and tell me how many of them were run after catch as opposed to distance that the ball travelled from his hand to the receiver. If you wanna downvote me for pointing out the obvious, let me ask you to answer hypothetical. If you have the ball, on the opponent’s 15 yard line, and you know you have to get it into the end zone on this play…are you more comfortable running or letting Austin Aune throw a pass?
  11. He’s terrible. T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E Our running game is fine, in fact better than fine…until defenses realize they need to have no respect for the passing game. Then you see the run get stonewalled. We have open receivers because teams have stacked the box, and often he STILL can’t hit them. UNLV announcers, guys who don’t watch our team every week, were commenting on how poor his throws were. Their synopsis of what you should know about our quarterback is he used to play baseball, he’s old, and he throws the ball at the ground.
  12. Move Aune to the defensive side of the ball. I watch him shut down an offense every single game.
  13. This post could have been made and been true last week…last month…last year…
  14. Yep, about to turn this shit show off and see how the other games are going
  15. Did I just hear the announcer say Austin Aune is leaving after this year to “give the NFL a try”???
  16. Well, he did hit the defender in the hands on 3rd down…luckily the guy can’t catch
  17. That touchdown was 1000000% Oscar Adaway…but we’ll be told by Vito that it was Aune’s passing brilliance, and someone will roll out some meaningless stat about his TD numbers
  18. The “fire Littrell” thread should have been started a WHILE ago
  19. So, in the first possession, Aune takes a sack and throws into the turf. Brilliant
  20. We found a way to avoid seeing Aune out there…just run the kickoff back ”All three phases”
  21. I would literally NEVER run against our defense…passing is just too easy
  22. North Texas has success running the ball early, and UNLV keeps pace by torching our secondary (this will be a trend all year). End of first half: 21-20, North Texas In the second half, UNLV commits 7 players to stopping the run and leaves our receivers in single coverage. Unfortunately, the air space above our receivers’ heads and the ground at their feet are not covered, and Aune decides to exploit this opening. Final score: 35-28, UNLV
  23. I'll listen to what these gentlemen have to say when they get to the quarterback like Mr(s). Murphy
  24. Notice that, even when the article talks about something App State is doing well, the author has to throw in this little disclaimer to let the P5's off the hook for the loss.
