I will be back out there to tailgate on Jan 11. The last few home games we have had a decent, though not great, turnout. Let's make this an event guys. I truly believe you CAN make NT basketball a big time thing. As an added bonus I wil make a deal with everyone. If we can get 20 people committed to show up at the tailgate I will make the Mean Green punch. For those that have never drank it...it's worth the trip on its own.

That's the problem Smitty. You can't tell these kids that because they honestly don't believe it. Everywhere they have gone in life they have been the "big dog." They really do think they'll get significant playing time. Schools like UT feed into this arrogance and lead these kids to believe they'll be real contributors. It's how BCS schools are so deep...and so many kids spend 3-4 years riding the pine and wondering "what if."

Just what do you hope to prove or gain with this? He was a flawed human being, aren't we all. Let's just try to keep in mind that it is a tragedy when ANY young person loses their life too early. Nothing is gained by harping on what they did or didn't do to contribute to their demise. Everything is gained by remembering them and letting future generations of Mean Green players and fans learn from their lives.

I disagree flyeater. There is already a premium on section E at Fouts. If they said I would have to give $1,000 to sit on the 50 I would gladly give it...as would all of those who sit around me I believe if for no other reason than to continue sitting next to eachother.

Look at ANYTHING that the NT exes put out, look at our helmets from the Mean Joe Green era, look at the athletic letter jackets...and so on and so on. Just because the new logos were forced down our throats doesn't make them the "official" logos of the Mean Green Nation. I for one will take the interlocked NT 8 days a week.

I can swing tickets for $35 bucks (that includes what I'd pay for shipping and service charge). I really want to go to this game but won't go solo. Anyone?
