Man. It drizzled just a little until a few minutes very early into the 1st qtr then the weather was perfect the rest of the night.
Every website, people in here. Even the AD tweeted: “rain until kickoff then it stops”. That’s exactly what it did.
Those that let the weather scare them off were wrong.

With that attitude....sure

The pace is all Briles. That was a staple at Baylor. Go fast, run the ball, get vertical

"His offensive system has already proven to be effective. The Cardinals put up more yards of total offense against New Mexico than they did in any game last year."
I say this offense will be better than that garbage SMU threw out there last week....maybe not as talented but they may move the ball.
I think I read that Bob Davies had a lot of experience on D. This will be a good test for the D and an opportunity to take another step forward. They better be prepared.

It gets better every year. Very well done.

I like but don’t like so many people saying this game is gonna be close. I want them looking forward to the next game vs. Auburn
I would feel better if Chad Morris hadn’t just coached against us last year. We’re not going to be able to sneak up on them.

Yep
This team has really matured and seems to be taking on the personality of their head coach.

Really, really hope they improve the quality. Otherwise, I’d rather get the exclusive stadium contract. ESPN sucks.
I haven't signed up yet.....do you mean quality as in play by play/commentary or quality of stream?

I will say this.....
Discussing these type of rumors is much better than discussing the rumors on the TTech side of things....
I've followed this program for just over 20 years and I've never seen a coach leave that wasn't fired. Yikes
As annoying as this is.....I'll take this over that all day long.

Looking like weather will be nice Saturday evening.
The chance of rain peaks about 4pm (50%) and then gets lower as the day goes on. Upper 70s and cloudy seem pretty good to me.

What proof do you have of this taking place?
Well....obviously none. Hence it being "silly"
it's all silly

The money they make off the tv contract alone makes KU profitable. Silly talk about them dropping down.
almost as silly as Littrell's wife looking for a house in Lubbock a month before the start of this season...

One thing about KU is the momentum picking up surrounding them dropping football. Or at least dropping to FCS. Before you say, "no way they do that...."
All football is doing at KU is sucking money away from other sports. I personally think it would be smart for them to drop football and put even more focus on basketball.
If that happened, they would be out of the big 12.
So instead of talking about Littrell going to KU...why don't we talk about who would fill an open spot in the big 12...

I beg to differ.
We have 13 more home games, because the C-USA championship games will be played at Apogee over the next 2 years.Touché

As a (2nd year fan and) student, I mean no disrespect to long-standing alumni and longtime fans of the program. But I absolutely cannot comprehend why anyone wouldn't mind missing any home game right now. This is possibly the best team in program history in the making. Let's not have a whole thread on here about expanding the stadium if we've got people who don't go out of their way to show up and support the guys. Not saying attendance dictates W/Ls but it certainly helps and we have to earn respect. I'll be out there tailgating at 11 and sticking around for the full game, rain or not. GMG.
Well said....
To top that off, we have what's turning into a once in a lifetime player to watch in Mason Fine. Who knows what his legacy will be when he's done but we certainly don't want to take it for granted.
After last Saturday, we have 11 more home games to watch him...

Yes. Our issues are bigger than the RB. I sat in the wing last night. There is NOWHERE to run.
