  1. That Tulane logo and those helmets. Yikes So bad it feels like they could hurt recruiting.
  2. Tulane is blowing out one of the top G5’s in the country 40-14 8:56 to go in the game Strange things happen on the road.
  3. I didn’t realize he has that speed. And he runs over people. Thats a nice combination
  4. He hasn’t won in the last couple of weeks. The offense has been a little “off” I was hoping he would regain the crown this week He did He’s locked in Not good for La Tech #everythingisfine
  5. Looks like some seats are starting to go.... I wonder what the SMU game looked like on the ticket website the Friday before the game. I wonder if anyone out there has screen shot from then....
  6. They’ve been very positive in their coverage this year. It sounds like they’re really rooting for UNT. Thats a good thing for local attention.
  7. I think it's cool that we're doing this during the La Tech game. So we can honor our greatest player who carried their greatest player to four super bowls. Nice.
  8. no It would be a combination of CUSA 3.0 and Sunbelt 4.0
  9. I wasn't necessarily arguing with you in particular....my only point was in the "regional fit" vs "higher profile" argument (assuming you can't have both) I'll take higher profile. Some prefer "regional fit" I don't. I want us on ESPN as much as possible. I want high profile games. I want top 25 rankings. I want to be seen as attractive to big conferences. CUSA is horrible. the leadership is horrible, the TV contract is horrible..It is what it is for now but I want big things for UNT and I think we're working toward that. I'm not advocating for MWC necessarily but if we had a chance to go to the MWC, and the choice was go to the MWC or stay in CUSA....we would be fools to not jump to MWC. And if our leadership said "no we don't want to go to a higher profile conference so 2,000 fans can drive to San Antonio to watch us play an 8 year old start up"....I would question our leadership and what their vision is for our program. Now the OBVIOUS perfect scenario for NOW would be the AAC. We get the best of both worlds of regional fit and higher profile. But if I had to choose between CUSA and MWC I don't even hesitate.
  10. Geographically....it's basically the same
  11. I bring up TCU because they had a "play anyone anywhere" mentality. They didn't give a damn about "regional rivals" because they had a bigger goal in mind. They went to the MWC because it bumped their profile....and then they went to the big 12. Now they had to win....and win consistently. But they had a big vision and now they're set. Whenever I see someone say they want to be in a conference with UTSA because it's a good drive....I shake my head. I see that as small time thinking. We're not raising all this money and working this hard to be side by side with a UTSA.
  12. I'll say this.... This athletic dept knows how to break twitter That video is catching fire
  13. chance of rain keeps dropping for sat as well
  14. Do we have something to measure the decibel level in Apogee if Hamilton gets a sack wearing that jersey?
  15. So what's our priority? Step up or Perfect fit? I'm gonna guess TCU is glad they said hell with perfect fit.
  16. defenses now have to contend with our running game
  17. Yes I’ve always wondered when people throw out: “you ain’t played nobody” well...what would a top 10 team do against that schedule? We’re beating everyone by 33+, would they win every game by 50? this metric puts that into perspective. What they’re saying, is if a top 5 team played this schedule, they would only win by a TD more than we are Now if we played one of those top 5 teams, we would be more than a TD underdog, so every metric has flaws....but it’s an interesting take
