I’m sure this has been brought up before....maybe it’s been tried. But it seems an annual 4 team “tourney” or round robin or something between UNT, TCU, UTA and SMU would be a good thing. Could have it at the AAC or rotate home courts? Would that be hard to schedule? Local interest could be good no?

Yes...and the SEC headquarters are in Birmingham If you think UNT struggles with competing against UT and A&M....that's nothing On top of that, even though there is nothing but Bama and Auburn to compete with UAB in that area, those 2 alone are worse than all of the competition in the DFW market combined for UNT.... What UAB is doing is admirable....and the city of Birmingham and local media have been supportive but they will never be able to come close to competing with Bama, Auburn and the SEC in that area. One can get a lot of easy grocery shopping done in the Birmingham area during a Bama game.

I agree to a point.... But man, we have some big shoes to fill in Ejiya, Garner, Brooks and Hall HUGE shoes We have talent behind them but you're talking about arguably the four best players on our defense....

The thing is.... We're going to have to have an improved offensive line next year... Because we're going to have to have an improved offense next year... Because our D is going to be in serious rebuilding mode.

I think that already came up a few years ago and La Tech made it known.....they would rather stay home (which they did) then play them in a bowl. They were 9-3 and turned down the Independence Bowl vs. Monroe and ended up staying home.

I think that it boils down to Graham Harrell is not ready to be an FBS O Coordinator. He was an inside receivers coach at WSU and then got thrust into the OC role. He’s too green.

What Littrell has done here is amazing. He has been a miracle for UNT. Love that he’s here. But the fact remains, he’s never won a big game with something on the line. Just a fact.
