  1. I guess La Tech is bringing a lot of fans. They brought a lot for football.
  2. Excellent interview with North Texas Associate Head Coach Ross Hodge who Coach McCasland gives high praise for their defense success.
  3. Surprising simulation results from yesterday's matchup according to https://www.ncaagamesim.com
  4. No "sneaking" into that quad....
  5. Had some fun with this simulation site NCAA Game Simulator - NCAAGameSim.com Simulated the '22, '21, '20 and '10 UNT tournament teams against each other (2020 probable tourney team) in 100 game sample on a neutral court. Sad to report that based on these simulations show 2020 was the strongest team. Unfortunately, we will never know how good they could have been 😔. We have had a lot of debate on the board comparing last year to this year and it was pretty close. This current team is not quite as strong as '20 and '10 Teams (according to these simulations). Would like to have used 2007 and 1987 tourney teams but it only goes back to 2010. '22 vs '21 Team Matchup Simulation Stats This game has been simulated 100 times. 6. It's great that we are finally get some pub on the local news stations but I'm over 50 (assuming that's the largest demo that still actually watches the local news) and I can't remember the last time I watched the local news, let alone for sports.
  7. I remember current UAB Andy coach Kennedy having so much success at Ole Miss and then after one down year he publicly stepped down voluntarily (or privately involuntarily). Ole Miss hired his assistant, and they haven't done much since. I wonder if they are regretting that. I know he played for UAB and went back home but his resume is impressive and what he did at Ole Miss was remarkable. Does anyone have any insight on this as I can't find much about the reasoning, only speculation. I do think he was outcoached today by Grant but who hasn't been? So do UAB fans...North Texas (csnbbs.com) His press conference comments were interesting, and he gave high praise to UNT and especially Perry! It would be nice to have a video post-game press conference of Coach McCasland from time to time. We only get radio coaches show and radio post game, right?
  8. This account has a lot of great content, and it looks like Perry is becoming a regular!
  9. Bracketology: Big 12 leads way with four teams in NCAA selection committee's early official top 16 seeds (cbssports.com) Winner: North Texas just keeps winning North Texas won a Conference USA showdown against UAB 58-57 and extended its winning streak to 12 games thanks to a clutch shot from Tylor Perry in the final seconds. The Mean Green are in position to secure C-USA's automatic NCAA Tournament bid and reach the Big Dance in consecutive seasons for the first time in program history. Even if it falters in the league tournament, North Texas may have a solid at-large case. And its fifth-year head coach Grant Mccasland may find himself in demand soon. The former Baylor point guard and ex-Bears assistant clearly knows how to run a program. Not crazy about the last two sentences but it's to be expected.
  10. Ugly...but that's who we are and that's what we do.
  11. We don't match up well with this team, we played poorly, were in early foul trouble and when UAB should have put us away, THEY DIDN'T and Perry made them PAY DEARLY FOR NOT DOING SO.
  12. Getting dominated in the last few minutes just like in Denton.
  13. Get ready for free throws to determine who wins.....😔
  14. Bell looks lost right now....
  15. GO AT JEMISON HARD NOW THAT HE HAS 3 FOULS.
  16. Stadium has never given me problems.....ESPN +....that's a different story.
  17. Is it possible to get any slower? lol
