After watching all the games tonight it's apparent we will play UAB in the final if we win tomorrow. I just don't see MUTS hanging with them although I was impressed they way they played UTEP tonight but they blew a big lead and almost let it slip away. UAB is still the most talented team left but are they the best team? I hope not. Beating La Tech tomorrow will be tough. GMG! Beat the Bulldogs!

No one wants to play UTEP right now. They are going to be an extremely tough out. Glad they are on the other side of the bracket. They are a different team with Keonte Kennedy back.

On Thursday night, coach Grant McCasland's squad leveled Southern Miss 85-61 behind 21 points from Abou Ousmane. Then on Saturday, North Texas clinched the C-USA West Division in a smothering 56-49 victory over Louisiana Tech. Defensively, North Texas has set the standard this season, holding 12 opponents under 55 points while allowing a Division I low of 55.3 points per game. A 14-game win streak and 15-1 mark in conference play have the good folks in Denton poised for a legit run in the NCAA tournament. For now, they're enjoying the good life inside the velvet ropes of the most opulent joint in mid-major hoops.

I agree. UTEP is my wild card team in this tournament. I think they can do some damage to the higher seeds. Hopefully La Tech plays some long tough games if we meet them in the semi-finals.

Have him watch Aaron Scott (Freshman) when he comes in off the bench and how he moves around the court when he doesn't have the ball. He is always hustling to his next coached spot and is always anticipating the next move. Also how he crashes the basket for a rebound along with Thomas Bell III. I think Scott is going to be really special in the next few years.

I think it is safe to assume they are already here with the announcements that have been made.

IF that's how it stays, I'll take it!
