Well, I remember being a student and we would drink on class breaks at........"The Rock Bottom Lounge" in the union at UNT and I still got that degree in just 8 1/2 years of full time study.

well, 6.7 yrds per attempt beats the hell out of 2.7 yrds, if you can't run it then you either pass it or don't score.

Every year...same thing...we played them close, almost beat them, we were not blown out like previously, etc...but we never seem to win...!!!

So what will you say when UTSA hands us our ass on a platter....should Mac be fired when this happens with a team without as much money, a startup and no stadium of its own? This I would think would really tell us what kind of coaching talent we have vs UTSA...and it should be head and shoulders above UTSA....now what ?

BYU ran the ball because it was working, we continued running the ball when it wasn't working....when they stop the run the only other thing you can do is pass...esp on 1st down.

This is really a great summary..esp about the interception....I really think most of this, and it could have been a win, is the coaching and play calling. It is almost a tradition we are down 7-14 points in the first 3 minutes or so (14 seconds this time). It was really amazing we came back as we did...they were the better team, but with better coaching and play calling we could have won this game. When you run 38 plays for 104 yrds, that is wasting 38 plays. When you can't run the ball, then quick , short passes...DT can do this, I've seen it.

and those 3 and 14 almost every series...and the 104 yrds on 38 carries...and those out passes that get 2-3 yrds....over and over and over...what already ! Oh ! and kick a field goal on 4th and 1 from about their 27, down 2 TDs early...WOW.

Any coach that is down by 14 pts and calls for a field goal, with a kicker that doesn't seem to make them, when he is on their what ??...27yrd line and 4th and 1 is what .....Stupid and should be fired. just pathetic coaching on Mac's part...and play calling on offense....will they ever figure out what doesn't work and do something different....probably not. DT's back !!! Oh yea !! Has UNT ever started out a game where we were not down a 7-14 point in the first 2-3 minutes?....maybe a record this time....14 seconds. Like I said in my previous post...if they score on their first possession and we don't...we lose the game...if Mac starts his stupid conservative calls (stupid calls) early in game like he did last year...we lose...we did both....we lost.
