This could be a much tougher game than most think...their QB seems to be as good as DT, esp if you look at last weeks game...DT din't look so good last game...looked like his old self. They are running the ball as well as we are, but then they haven't played our outstanding defense. The pass concerns me alot, while we have improved in our coverage...still looks very questionable many times. They too force fumbles and they have shown they can put up points, even if it is against a pretty good 2nd string at OK State. This is a game we could lose , especially if we don't keep the offense in full speed. We need to put pressure on QB Make sure we cover the pass better, especially the long pass Watch of misdirection plays, trick plays...they will pull out all of the stops on this game...we should do the same Lets hope DT is on target on this game...he could win it or lose it for us very easily. Our D line should do well as usual Our big play makes will show up as well Apogee will be rocking like you have never seen it before...count on it. So who wins?....since no one knows, I'll say we win by 14 points...lets hope Mac has them ready.

I love the NORTH TEXAS chant... how about a MEAN GREEN chant.....would sound great in Apogee. can the cheerleaders make some signs for this and lets do a couple of MEAN GREEN chants during the game?

It was really dangerous...and not sure how legal it is, could be big lawsuits if they cause a accident...they were going at 70mpg in a 60, and sometimes less zone as well..It was concerning to me, just interested in how others might feel.

I was driving up to the game, was in grapevine on 114 and two UNT Police SUVs with lights flashing pass me with 2 buses going about 70mph heading to UNT. The police blocked every intersection so the buses wouldn't have to stop. Anyone else experience this? Comments?

Last week I thought how nice it would have been to stay at a hotel at Apogee....anyone hearing anything else about this hotel...will be a great addition to the Apogee complex.

I think the two things to be concerned about in this game is 1> UTSA offense...they scored more points against OK state than anyone else, including TCU, Texas Tech, Miss State, K State and west virgina 2 - Sometimes our Offense can't quite get on track...DT overthrows or throws picks, we fail to repeat plays that work well (this I have never understood...I have seen teams where a play worked well and they repeated it several times in a row, but I'm not advocating that) So stopping their offense is key and I hope we do better in the secondary, not like the first half against Rice. I hope we get creative with our offense, throw over the middle more, don't throw 5 yrd passes when we need 7 for a first and run a hurryup offensive. Also, I hate whe we have the ball with 20 sec before half and we run the clock off instead of trying to add some points. They must have something on offense to put the points they have on the board against the above teams....!!!!!

Kinda understand that...I was having so much fun before the game tailgating and alll...it crossed my mind....but not for long...the game is just too much fun.

I think at this time we need 2 chants North Texas Mean Green Those 2 should do for 2 -3 yrs...then when more fans get the hang of it (and the old folks that don't yell shit where I sit) then we can add some new/more cool stuff.

Had the opportunity to meet King DL, Harry, Mike and Victor at the talegate....I had a great time and thanks for the beer and food...I have been on the board for about 10-12 yrs and have just had the chance to meet some of the guys this year....it was great fun and thanks again...we will see about another MG viewing party at the Bottlecap in Grapevine..Ill be back with info soon...Go Mean Green.

Did you notice Corky Nelson was at the game...on the big screen...WOW he looks old, guess it is because he is...surprised to see him...glad he was back home at North Texas...always liked the guy.

Did the BAD DT show up again...sure did...he looked terrible....hope we don't see him again, if this was a tough team, we might have lost....come on DT, you are better than this!

Gotta say...I could see much deeper in the soul of this man in that interview...who he really is, much more than has ever been obvious from previous talks,...you have to admire this guy, even if you have some issues with his coaching....reminds me a bit of RV who just gets emotional when he talks about North Texas..,.but I do too. It really raised my opinion of him, as a man and a coach.

Marketing adjustments need to be made...seems student turnout is good overall, needs to market to the Dentonites.

This costs a couple of games last year IMO....the conservative 1st half play probably cost us the Tulane game as well IMO
