    UNT is going to have a great opportunity to showcase the University of North Texas every year, perhaps with some big name programs...this is great...so much better exposure with CUSA regardless of who leaves. I can see UNT making real progress in the next few years with this conference change.

    Oh boy, are you ever right...his conservative approach, not only on first downs, costs us 2-3 games last year...and it was easy to see the turning points in the game when he made the ultra conservative decisions....you would say to yourself.."that was a terrible decision...now your screwed" and guess what ; we were. I hope he is more aggressive this year...if we win less than 6 games I will be wanting a coaching change, or if we lose to UTSA...that truely would be a disgrace. Looking for a great season and I have high expectations this year.

    Perhaps the best way to resolve the issue is with multiple lawsuits against the big school programs, big 5 conferences, etc...then the attention of university presidents, legal, states, etc becomes involved..then see what happens...stir the chili. The larger school football programs and conferences (ie, the little pigs) have to see the rest of us will not be pushed around.

    great story - this is the type of thing I like to hear. I do believe is a very GOOD MAN...I have no doubts about this....I just hope he is a really good coach...this year should tell...once again, great story.

    any recommendations for NO hotels (Tulane game)...needs to be near Bourbon St I guess. Anyone know where the team will stay...or where the MG party types will be booz'n it up ? Thanks

    Show some clips from the games, with some crowds and tailgating, etc...people who haven't been can see what it is like...seems like this is a must do.

    anyone hearing anything about the hotel deal for apogee....I think this would be huge for UNT football, especially recruiting and visability of apogee to visitors to Denton.

    I think a lost to UTSA or going less than 6-6 merits firing...then perhaps someone other than RV should do the hiring.

    Not bad for a giant aluminum lawn chair...they should have done concrete, that aluminum will not stop bullets very well...and they need that!!!

    If we lose to a startup like UTSA...Mac should be fired after the game...there is NO excuse for a loss to UTSA. As Mac does allow excuses on his team...we shouldn't allow excuses to lose to a startup like UTSA.

    I think OD is a good ad...I watched the game with Ga southern....they had a full stadium and probably could have beat us...without much problem.
