  1. About to go 0-1 in MG opportunities. Mark it.
  2. I was responding to the comment that Edwards essentially replaced Perry. Edwards can create more and score but I don’t think he was as clutch as TP.
  3. I know a line hasn’t been set yet, but I am taking us no matter what. If we can’t beat a team wearing eye patches and with peg legs then we don’t deserve to be in the NIT.
  4. 1. Takes balls by McCasland to do that at that time of the year. I appreciate that dedication to doing the right thing. It couldn’t have been a good situation considering Pop Isaacs played for Tech this year. 2. Scoring? Yes. Clutch? No.
  5. We, MGBasketball, announced it via X.
  6. START IT!!!!! Don't make me come out there.
  7. You have to start it. It is the Mean Green Way. Just announced on X that it is Saturday. Time TBD Whatever time it is, I hope LSU has a baseball game.
  8. Up by 10 with six minutes left and score like 8 points the rest of the way. Choke artist.
  9. They lose to Indiana State. Night night.
  10. I started one. Read where it is Saturday. I don’t want to kill your mojo, so I am deleting mine.
  11. Back on topic, looking at the box score, this is the type of game where Scott shines. He quietly put together an excellent game of 14 points, 7 rebounds, 0 fouls and only 1 TO while helping bring the ball up against the press and playing really good defense. He shines when he isn't the "alpha dog", and we aren't running isolations for him on the offensive end. He contributes in the natural flow of the game and his length and athletic ability help in so many unappreciated ways. Let CJ, Rubin and Jason handle the majority of the scoring, get Buggs going from 3 early and let Scott and Allen do their thing. Also, Sissoko also looked much better. Still needs to be more aggressive on the offensive boards when going up for a shot, but his hustle play that led to a Jones basket, rebounding and defense were much better last night.
  12. I don't care how fast we go as long as we keep up our defense. So fun watching these teams get frustrated.
  13. Seton Hall has some pretty impressive wins this year. They beat the following: St. Peter's by 11, Wagner by 21, Missouri by 6, UConn by 15 (lost to them later by 30), Providence by 4, Marquette by 3, St. John's by 15 and 6 before losing to them by 19 and Xavier by 18 (lost to them later by 20). I didn't get to really research St. Peter's but they lost early in the year to A&M Commerce. I am going with Seton Hall.
  14. That's what I thought considering how it all went down.
  15. As for Abou, did he choose to leave or was he asked?
  16. I think it is realistic and I don't care if there are 100 major programs with smaller arenas than us. There is no excuse for not packing the Pit. I wouldn't give up until I've seen even a hint of effort from our administration to do so.
  17. https://dentonrc.com/sports/colleges/mean_green/unts-midterm-transfer-additions-looking-like-they-will-make-impact/article_9393dcf0-f6e6-5503-8493-b22809778410.html UNT’s coach talked about safety Isheem Young, offensive lineman Landon Peterson and wide receiver Dalton Carnes before backtracking Monday morning in the Mean Green’s first workout after spring break. Jayden Hill “Maybe the brightest star of all the transfers is Jayden Hill from Ohio Dominican,” Morris said of the safety. “He’s been as good as anyone. To have him on the back end with Isheem and BJ Allen Jr. gives us three guys who possess the body type you want coming downhill and tackling.”
  18. I love the green, but, oddly enough, never was a fan of the Celtics.
  19. I'm going to reverse this and say we need to be able to fill our current home when you have 40,000 on campus, not counting faculty and staff, 150,000 in Denton and over 200,000 alumni living in DFW. Pack the Pit.
  20. I just want one more run of Rubin Jones.
