Fans are encouraged to visit the pregame fun zone under the wing between sections 310 and 315 to experience live music, a petting zoo, face painting, a caricature artist and much more. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to watch a corgi race on the field at halftime of the game.

Guests who attend the Spring game will encounter a new security measure – walk through and hand-held metal detectors – when they enter the stadium.

Seems like we are leaving sort of a golden era of UNT basketball into the unknown.  McCasland and many of his great players like Tylor, Javion, Mo, Geu, Kai, Drez, Bell, Reese, Ryan, Rosy, Mike, DJ and Jorden are gone now.   We have no guarantee that this roster will stay as is.  And half of the squad was basically sitting the bench and they deserve a shot to go play somewhere else if they cannot get minutes here.  Ross is a good coach but can he recruit to the level that McCasland did?  Will we stay primarily a defensive team or will we look to move more uptempo?

Did your girlfriend approve of the way Hodge addressed his players?  I think this goes a long way in determining whether we are successful on the recruiting trail or not.

i am always disappointed in the North Texas commercials.  they always look cheap, thrown together, and not focusing of the best parts of the school.  during conference tournament times, it's cool seeing the other schools videos....those campuses look nice.

Anybody watch the softball games against Tulsa and see their commercial?  It was excellent. Highlighting their strong programs, academic accolades, fields of study, etc.

How much NIL would he have made if he would have stayed at NT another year?  I'm sure it wouldn't have been a quarter million dollars, but I'm sure it wouldn't have been nothing, either.

I heard he we had $150k for him to stay.  I think that was the amount, but don’t hold me to it. I was shocked when I heard the amount.

It’s harder to tell which HS recruits will pan out . I do believe Layne Taylor will pan out .

If you would have asked, I would have expected Cotton to play this year and I expect both incoming freshmen to contribute next year.

What a horrible interference call overturning a force out at third and resulting in a run for Tulsa. The runs in the fourth inning by Tulsa are on the umpires. As a former third baseman and umpire, complete B.S.

The interference call on their catcher was just as bad. By rule, the umpires were correct, but it is a horrible rule and effected both teams and the outcome of the game.

But we need some of the old farts to stop telling the energetic fans to sit down/be quiet. Those people should go sit up in the higher rows!

Yep, they need to move up top, not complain or join in and stand up when appropriate.

  9. I would like to see our HS players developed. It seems like none have really contributed since Jones and Scott. Stone has collected some minutes but never found his offensive stride considering he was a 1,500 point scorer in high school.

  10. Great game. Couple very good plays by Gamble at first and Simon at short, plus a great throw by Rainey in left to catch a Tulsa runner trying to stretch a single into a double. Well played and pitched by both teams. Childers has been excellent the past few weeks.

There are lots of names out there for that, Lifer! Cold shooting.  A dry spell.  There's some overlap here, but they are not always the same.  I equate choking to late game collapses.

Instead of thinking maybe the other team made the adjustments it needed to, let's just pile it on those Ponies, right?

Thanks for your opinion of choking. I disagree. I watched the game and they choked.

Never thought I would get in a back and worth with one of our own defending smuT.

Why the jilted lover syndrome? He was a hired gun for us and a hired gun for KState. KState gave him more money and a bigger stage. Let him go live his life. We should be grateful for what he did here and that he is a UNT graduate but what he did at KState and how he said goodbye there should be no more than a passing interest for us.

Hired gun?  Bigger stage?  Did KSU get more coverage this year than we did last year?  I know Big XII, but I don’t recall them being on television much.
