  1. This year's team loses scholarships because of the failings of the team 4 years ago? Doesn't seem fair. And losing potentially a third string DE is not as great a loss on the field as it is a loss in the public's perception of Dodge losing one of his old HS players.
  2. Guess we should hire people to attend class with our players to take their notes like OU does. How freaking ridiculous is that?
  3. I respect your opinion, although I don't totally agree with it, but I have to disagree with the statement I put in bold above. Making nice with "our friends" Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Daniel Ortega, Jugo Chavez and the Castro brothers is not acceptable. Some people can be reasoned with and some can't. Radicals whose lone goal is to receive virgins in heaven for suicide bombing U.S. interests can't be reasoned with and measures must be taken to extract information from them to keep our country safe. Yes, the Japanese and Germans tortured during WWII and I'm sure the U.S. and its Allies performed some acts we aren't proud of, but they kept us safe and ended a war. War isn't pretty. I believe there are places the media doesn't belong and one of them is in the middle of the war broadcasting their views or the views they want to promote. I would do anything to ensure my family is safe, and I mean anything. The U.S. government better feel the same way about its citizens.
  4. Great, now we've lost six scholarships. Whoever took the over when the line was set at 5 is a rich man.
  5. Fentriss was hurt and couldn't recover. Padron and Russo wanted to go to SMU, period. I would be surprised if either plays. Tomlin probably won't play and is at A&M I believe. There are many still on the roster. Face it, some kids just need a change, for whatever reason, and transfer. Besides, SLC is a great HS team, but how many of their kids have gone on to stellar collegiate carreers outside of Daniel? McElroy might become a great one at Alabama and a few lineman have done well, but they really haven't been world beaters in D1 football as a whole.
  6. How long does DD draw a paycheck from NT?
  7. Which is probably one reason Russo left.
  8. Pretty good write-up with my comments, some sarcastic/some serious in bold italics. I think Ball State and Ohio are toss-ups, or should be and I think we will beat Army.
  9. FFR, That is disheartening. Not one reference to the destruction of Fouts Field. $100 says the first wrecking ball to take a whack at that edifice either shatters or bounces off. Speaking of wrecking ball. They should auction off swings at Fouts with that thing. Let the operator instruct the winners on how to work the ball and let'em at it.
  10. Whatever happened to the women's triple jumper that performed so well as a freshman a couple of years ago? I think her last name was Stanfield.
  11. Not a chance. Must be nice to win an election to Congress, not show up half the time and then get elected President.
  12. Here in SE Texas, the Navasota ISD closed yesterday through May 11, a couple of Cy-Fair campuses have closed and a couple of Houston ISD campuses have closed, all through May 11th I believe.
  13. That's still too long to watch soccer. **Unless it is the Lady Mean Green Eagles.
  14. Well then, I guess it is Dodge's fault that Fitzgerald, or any other member of last year's graduating class, hasn't signed as an undrafted free agent.
  15. Man, now you've taken to the Left's spin/damage control. If you truely believe that then how do you explain this? You don't just wheel out Air Force One and take it for a spin while escorted by a fighter jet without approval from the top. To top that, nobody from this administration thought to place a call to New York to let them know this would be taking place. I'm getting dizzy from all of the spinning.
  16. Soccer, where you can witness the following: Flops of Oscar caliber consideration Running up and down a field continuously turning the ball over to the other team. Joy on the face of both teams after a tie game.
