  1. I love you. I knew no mere plane crash could bring you down.
  2. Touchy John, geeze. You of all people should understand the joy of a random avatar. Calling BS on people isn't angry. I love Cobbs too, but putting him in the NFL as a draft pick or free agent based on his work history is not what I would do. I think the effort to justify his 40 time and test results is hilarious. He did serviceable in the senior game and nothing about his works out jumps out - and everyone here is finding other people to blame for that - again. Cobbs has a full body of work for the NFL to judge what he did and who he did it against - the 40 is just a piece and a ho-hum time is just a part. As Eagle1855 alluded to, if running a slow 40 makes you the next Emmitt Smith, sign this guy: http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B0000...02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg We love blaming others - whether its the BCS, the coach, the admin, or whatever - but nothing ever is what it is. I'm not angry, don't worry - I'm just laughing in the corner. If you are lucky, I may even rub one out. Why would it be quorner - the qu replaced a b, not a c. That's just stupid and ridiculous. Geez. Thank you for taking me seriously and getting mad - I can send baby wipes to anyone else I offend as well. If you'll excuse me I am off to go update my draft board.
  3. So doing the math suggested in the article, Cobbs was more like a low 5? Or was Cobbs measured right because he is our guy and everyone else was measured wrong?
  4. I'm living proof!!!! And that post really was just awful. Tom Smykowski: It's a "Jump to Conclusions mat". You see, you have this mat, with different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO. Michael Bolton: That's the worst idea I've ever heard in my life, Tom. Samir: Yes, this is horrible, this idea.
  5. Finally - someone puts up a decent bracket - just replace Iowa with WVU...the media lost "GMac", so Pittsnoggle, Morrison, and Redick are the last few great white hopes to shove down our throat.
  6. If Jesus ever posted on this board he would say the exact same thing. Viva la idiot board! Coach Weibling told me my crap stank, I'm withdrawing my donation to Women's Basketball.
  7. Does this answer any questions? Johnny Quinn is my #1 seed.
  8. If you watched half of the 15k or so who decide to come watch you play on a good day rip you and debate your job performance for years, you might slip in and f bomb in a speech to your colleagues/subordinates too. If it motivates them, so be it. If they win games, they'll thank the fans again for support. Its just part of the downward spiral the entire ship is in - team doesn't perform - fans rip team - team takes it personal, makes comments, fans get indignant and rip team more. Of all the problems we have, this one seems to be making the most out of nothing, but what do I know? I just have a pop in my pants for Johnny. Nate Dogg is key - talk to him before it is too late!
  9. I sent him this http://youtube.com/watch?v=w0RIv2dPP-o&sea...20best%20around
  10. If that was just written tongue-in-cheek you sir, are a genius. If not, well, you could still write for the Daily.
  11. You are giving our students waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much credit.
  12. Not everyone's...I think this is a pretty well done list since this turned into big stadium discussion. Of course, Amon Carter is noteably missing... from http://americasbestonline.net/cstadiums.htm Top 25 College Stadiums Kyle Field, Texas A&M, Schedule Notre Dame Stadium, Notre Dame , Schedule Neyland Stadium, University of Tennessee, Schedule Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, University of Florida, Schedule Tiger Stadium, LSU, Schedule Ohio Stadium, Ohio State University , Schedule Memorial Stadium, University of Nebraska, Schedule Doak Campbell Stadium, Florida State University, Schedule Michigan Stadium, University of Michigan, Schedule Sanford Stadium, University of Georgia, Schedule Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn University Folsom Field, University of Colorado Bryant-Denny Stadium, University of Alabama Camp Randall, University of Wisconsin Beaver Stadium, Penn State Autzen Stadium, University of Oregon L.A. Coliseum, University of Southern California Michie Stadium, Army Memorial Stadium, Clemson Rose Bowl, UCLA Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, University of Texas Husky Stadium, University of Washington Falcon Stadium, Air Force Academy LaVell Edwards Stadium, BYU Bulldog Stadium, Fresno State
  13. I called everyone a moron - thanks for proving the point. Liking the Suns doesn't make you dumb, nor does knowing Stoudamire's fruity little nickname. I can even do the long forgotten Quentin Richardson Q goggles hand sign - second in gayness only to the jon Barry "3 down low." The only common thread between all you people is your "in-depth" basketball talk on this board. I think maybe 4 or 5 people on this board know what a pick and roll is (and do discuss basketball quite well - watch them, they make the real points on every thread) - but please, keep on discussing the NBA when the complexities of handicapping Sun Belt Basketball escape most of you...it gives me something to laugh at when Johnny is busy. Calling someone a jerkoff isn't very nice and its good to know Eagle60 and Oldtimer are the same guy. I heard they are both really Bruce Bell. Thank you for defending their honor....
  14. You all are the same morons who thought this year's men's bball team was the greatest ever assembled back in November. No need for expert commentary. Amore Stodamare could dominate Shak O'Nell - that's for f'n sure.
  15. Could the SunBelt winner just get an automatic berth in the I-AA playoffs? Whoever the SunBelt rep loses to gets our spot in the conference - and if we win - well then we earned that 100-119 ranking!!!! Up yours I-AA!!!
  16. Should they post the non-finalized schedule or just write up bios for the kids who may or may not be on the final roster? you got a point on the Spring Game though... Let me restate that in a way that will be as easily readable as your post was: Shufkdjfkl;dhfe jdskl;jdaskjfde flsdjfslkfdsl f;sdsweti0r4ti04tg Blame Nate Dogg - he answers the phones. Fear my potato sack!
  17. You know me too well - but I honestly have nothing on this one. If Johnny keeps getting faster it will be harder to catch him...this is terrible news.
  18. He's doing well - REAL well. "Pepper needs new shorts, Cotton!"
  19. First, Plumm, I love you. If you can post the same tired shtick, why can't I? I have nothing to hide, but I don't want to give you anymore than you need to know. I'm Texas born, love me some sweet Johnny Quinn, and I fight for freedom and truth. Second, its hard to work in the AD when you live 300 miles away. You figure it out. Not supporting your craziness does not equal supporting everything in the administration and athletic program. Oddly enough my name is Rick DickinsonAdamsHowardCapperBarnhartAshbaughAdamsMcKinleyJohnsonBarellaDickey Ray, the 3rd. The whole AD hooked up and I came out. I heard it was awesome. I play on the basketball team and used to date Tina Slinker. I donate 50 billion dollars towards the Dallas Campus and I have a dad who lives in Kansas who uses a slush fund between NT and KSU to fund controversial political cartoons and propaganda. You were right about everything. Off to go fishing with DD and Bobby - toodles.
  20. I hope if they do read this they send you 400 flags and other surplus immediately. Oh, and I know those forms are hard to fill out, but you can check the "do not mail me a gift" box like some people already do. Donating money is not that hard, unless you want to be a martyr about it. Here's to you, everyone else who donates and doesn't broadcast it. And the gifts they give are pretty much on the cheap by design. I know it is fun to talk tough on this board, but you've had plenty of chances by now to contact the AD yourself with all this. If I'm not happy with someone, I usually do not sit at home in my panties posting rants, hoping they'll notice me. I know you love the attention everyone gives back to you, but at least know you've become a punchline to the people you are so consumed with. If you could really live without athletics you would not be posting the same stuff all day. The thing you seem to not be able to live without is the spotlight - and this goes back to when you defended everything the exact opposite way. I think you've made it very clear to GMG.com that you just don't know how to quit us. In the words of the bartender in Anchorman: "Take it outside crazy. You're stinkin' up the joint with your craziness." Long live Nate Dogg - a god among men. I look forward to a nonsensical reply!
  21. Yeah that probably happened. The SID decided that after compiling and faxing updates out during the game, they'd just wipe their taints with the papers at the buzzer. Here's a thought - a sports desk is faxed all sorts of information. Then they decide which is publically relevant. I know this board has has 2,000 people, and about 5,000 people total know these games are even occuring at max, but perhaps we are just placed in a pile with Texas St., TSU, SFA, SHSU, etc.? Why don't we give the media a reason to care and beat some teams that don't suck? I know someone will point out how many alumni we have, but we all know how many actually care... Hey, there's 500,000 people in this market - if we could send them posters and free tickets we'd pack the house! Maybe we could hand out Johnny Quinn/Mean Green tea bags? I know I would like one. But you never miss a chance to try to kick someone in the balls do you? Why don't you call the AD and ask if it is a huge concern? Support Nate Dogg.
  22. I think you'd get about 900 yards of total offense and one soiled pair of jeans.... Johnny does have nice hands though...maybe he should rub Jamario's hammy to make to make sure nothing goes wrong next year. Nate Dogg 4 Ever!!!!
  23. Most of the guys you are naming were top 4 or 5 round picks for a reason - and it wasn't size. A list of short guys is cute, but most of the guys you listed had some buzz going into the draft - except the crappy scatbacks you just threw in. The limitations here are not just size but no one will admit it. I'm sure the fact that he ran back a kick for a few yards and threw some blocks turned scouts' heads everywhere. Just like Bazaldua's ability to kick the ball, miss, and not fall down probably got him a roster spot on the Jets. And when did Jazz Legend Charlie Parker get drafted? Do you mean Willie Parker - because that would actually help your case. He also played a school that develops NFL backs - WVU. Maybe saw someone him knock off some blocks in a senior bowl game and took the plunge. Or maybe he did something to prove it - I don't know I'm not an expert, but you guys are. I'll be in the hammock with JQ if you need to flame me.... Oh and people take chances on players from lesser known schools all the time - look at some NFL rosters. Just because we do not produce much (yet) does not mean it is not there. I hope Cobbs gets drafted too, but the year of the Quinn is at hand. My hand.
  24. Not true- I talked to Bobby Ray yesterday and he decided that, after the 4 billionth, well worded, easy to read, concise, and (his words not mine) PLAIN AWESOME post he has read (he is an avid reader of this board and gets RSS feeds), he'd been wrong about everyting. Pretty confident there will be sweeping changes this week - look out for a prominent Florida coach to make his move this way this week - also Ramon Flanagan will soon be replaced by Chuck Norris. look I put a ninja face - INSIDE INFORMATION!!!! Call me Brett Vito!!! Thanks Plumm, for all that you do! Off to take a bath!!!
