If you have the time and financial ability, definately go to New Orleans and support the team. Guaranteed, you will have fun. I went to the 2001 NO Bowl against CSU and by far the most enjoyable experience for me at any game weekend (and a week to recover). While this is a different time and place for UNT football, it's still a great bowl destination and as long as we strive to win, good things will be in store now and for the future. Personally I don't have the means to make it to NO this year, but I'll be there in spirit. Go Mean Green..

Hopefully next year, we can relive the days during that first New Orleans Bowl againt Colorado State where they were selling frozen drinks with grain alcohol from hot dog cart on the street.. Now that was classic...

I liked those home opening blowouts of Angelo State, that's what we need as tune ups.

I flew in from out of state... At least I was on a free plane ticket. Worst I have ever witnessed in person. Will not be back up there anytime soon. I should have gone to the hockey game instead.

LSU 70 NT 3

A downward spiral so fast, this is unbelievable. Change is inevitable now. Next week will probably be the worst loss ever. This will be a 70-80 pt loss.

Be Real, This continues every year and we we always lose OOC games, we need an easier schedule or a new philosophy to get us to that next level. We have been at this stage long enough. Other teams seem to do fine with young QB's and Oline. That can't always be the excuse. Medeocre is not acceptable anymore.

We just need to start scheduling 1-AA teams in Non conference games like Tech and A@M do. We could play SFA and Abilene Christian like the old days.

We need to start scheduling our own cupcakes. We always beat Abilene Christian.

Yeah we will probably win the Sun Belt again, lose in the N.O. Bowl but that's not saying much anymore. We need some other OOC wins. I long for the home openers against Abilene Christian. At least we won those games. Not to be so negative, but by now it IS all about WINNING.
