  1. You do know we had a running back with that name (in 1987) In fact he scored our only TD in the playoff loss to NLU.
  2. 2022 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted in his first season at Arkansas. HIGH SCHOOL: Kicked at Arlington Lamar HS where he made nine of 11 field goals with a long of 48 yards… Named Special Teams Player of the Year for District 8-6A in Texas … Rated a six-star prospect by Chris Sailer Kicking and the No. 12 kicker in the nation … Played in 2022 All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas … Posted a video on Twitter of himself making a 73-yard field goal during practice.
  3. So, at one time this would have been a stupid question, but given that most of the rules seem to have been dropped or if you're a P3, simply ignored, it's not so much anymore. Since NIL is close to making some students the equivalent of paid employees, why do they even need to be enrolled to practice during Spring? In fact, I bet it won't be long before some P3 school tries to bring in a player for Spring practice as an "internship".
  4. And they would have gotten them made if it hadn't been for those meddling kids (on defense) !!!
  5. Don't forget to pick up your 2024 Buckeye Newshawk Award too!
  6. I agree, but the point of my post was simply to recognize a kid for sticking with his team (and his doing it in a bit of a twist).
  7. The announcement that he was NOT transferring. He setup the video as though he was going to but then announced he was staying.
  8. Craig James may have something to say about that.
  9. I'm not happy that TSU may be in better shape than us, but I'm glad to see this kind of dedication to his school.
  10. Maybe if a few big NIL donors start bringing lawsuits against those not playing. If I've paid out big $'s to support a collegiate player, I expect them to play ALL games.
  11. I'm not much of a Twitter poster, but if you are, maybe consider posting a good note to the referenced Twitter post and/or to his account. We can't give him the raise, but we can show him our appreciation.
  12. Yeah, all those various signs in the BM episodes are always funny.
  13. If we do as well as we did last year getting Rauchenburgh, I'll be happy
  14. Now that players have become essentially paid employees, it's time to start penalizing them for not playing in bowl games.
  15. Maybe, as a selling point, we make portal recruits aware of the fact that we have someone that could assist them with their tax issues.
  16. I thought it was exactly the opposite due to Austin fighting against us including the "The", but again, my memory is horrible.
  17. So, why are you here? Looking for tickets or just solidifying tailgate menus?
  18. I'm not too excited about this yet mostly because I no longer know what it means to "commit". At this point, has he done something that has contractually committed himself to being here Aug 31? If so, I'm excited. If not, I'll wait until Aug 31.
  19. Several people missed the main point of your post. I found these general requirements: UNT Residency Requirement A major of at least 24 semester hours. At least 12 hours of advanced work (3000/4000 level) in the major must be earned at UNT (except for the BAAS degree). A minimum of 36 semester hours of advanced work, 24 of which must be completed at UNT. Many degrees at UNT require 42 advanced hours, see the college/school degree requirements of your major in the catalog for details. A lower level course that, when transferred, is determined to be equivalent to a UNT upper-level course does not satisfy the requirement of advanced hours. Twenty-five percent of the university minimum of 120 semester hours (i.e., 30 hours) must be earned in residence at UNT.
  20. About 28k https://stats.pac-12.com/sports/fball/2023-24/teams/washingtonstate They were also 4-0 in September and then didn't win another game until they won the next-to-last game (56-14) against CO.
  21. You know what also happens in the business world? They give you various benefits like, tuition reimbursement, etc. because they have invested in you. Then, typically, if you leave before some specified time, you are required to pay back the investment.
  22. Yeah, just like telling a 13yo that only a tiny percentage of players make it to the NFL. They all think they are part of that group.
