I wish Seth had a little McCasland in him. One thing I like about Coach Mac is that if he sees a lack of effort or stupid play he will immediately call time out and jump in someone's shit. I'd like to see Seth get angry.

I was about to say this is the Portland State game of the SL era. He needs to make significant staff changes or he can kick rocks.

I don't know who #38 is on our defense but he wanted no part of that RB.

I think the starting lineup against Xavier was an opportunity to take some of the pressure off some of our freshman and rest George against an inferior opponent. The good news is that Jackson and Boyd found their offensive game a little in the second half and hopefully they can build on that going forward. I love McDowell's game, she could be a special player for us in the future. Jones has a sweet looking shot, hopefully she gains some confidence from her performance.

Freshmen making freshmen mistakes. Alcorn played a full court press most of the game and turned us over. Sheppard didn't play due to injury and I didn't see Terrell with the team. Also, freshman Thompson picked up an ankle injury during the game. Silver lining is that our freshmen are getting lots of important minutes, but it could be a long, learning curve type of season.

Nobody does more with less than La Tech, across all sports really.

Wow, Darden didn’t even attempt a tackle. Maybe Bean wouldn’t have 4 turnovers this game if we had run a couple of packages for him each game this year.

3-1 final. We have Rice in the semi's on Sunday. For me already a successful season with 11 freshman and 15 total new players on the roster.

Too beat up. I'd like to see the ladies get some post season action. We've got some good young players that could use the extra practice time.

The Manvel RB commitment seamed kinda tentative. What are our chances here? Any word on how Adaway's season has gone? Can any of these OL/DL commits make a difference in their first year?
