  1. Very nice comeback.....that consisted of two walks as I recall....two infield hits.....and then a solid single to right by Mackenzie Wagner. Great win. Go Mean Green!
  2. We have the aforementioned Charleston tournament.....Nov. 16, 17 and 19. And per our pal NT03......we're hosting Omaha on Nov. 11. Played them here last season too. (at least they're Div. 1)
  3. Two bad cases of "sophomore Jinx" would be Skylar Savage and Cierra Simon. Both were phenomenal last year as true freshmen. Lot of season left. And quite frankly....we're at the point where the only way we make the NCAAs is by winning the CUSA tournament. So that's still doable.....just gotta play a lot better than we have.
  4. i'm guessing it's a trick question. He played RB here.....but another position in the pros????
  5. Olawale didn't play RB here.
  6. A St. Louis commit...has gotten out of his commitment. They released him from his NLI. A big post from Germantown, Tn. Had some decent offers. Not sure if it means anything....at all. https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Brock-Vice-155627/RecruitInterests/ And Coach Forte is who recruited him to SLU:
  7. I kind of think this will be something where the players limit themselves. Yeah, there may be some that go on more than 5 visits. But from what we all hear....the recruiting process (for players) is arduous already. I can't see some kid and his family wanting to pack up and go on 10-15-20 visits. So my guess is....most kids will keep their visits in the single digits.
  8. Looks like a one time commit to Okie State. Found this from last year (site called sblive) Stanley will be one of the emerging top players to watch in the state in the coming years. A power forward and center, Stanley has already committed to Oklahoma State. In her team's district title win against Rejoice Christian, Stanley scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Against Inola in January, she had 23 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks.
  9. I believe this would be Coach Burton's first offer: https://twitter.com/StanleyLaynee/status/1646355518896713730/photo/1
  10. Yaxel Lendeborg, really good PF out of Arizona Western JC. He committed to St. John's.....but never signed. Doesn't want to play for Pitino I guess. Not sure.We had offered him....back in 2022. Not sure if we're interested now or not. Phil Forte does follow him on Twitter. FWIW
  11. "Boo" would be a huge pickup. Was one of the top 100 players in the nation....coming out of high school. Here was his offers out of high school: https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Demarr-Langford-116946/RecruitInterests/

  14. According to our pal NT03......Phil was the one recruiting Oklahoma guard CJ Noland to St. Louis.....CJ committed there. Might he flip?????

  16. While UTSA wasn't very good.....I thought Jacob was a pretty good player. Anyway, he just Portaled to Wichita State.
  17. DMac........was to Grey Goose.....what Eric is to Allsup's Taco Sauce.
  18. The jersey doesn't do much for me....but others may love 'em. Kudos to our team for past success...and good luck this weekend. And special praise for any UNT polo player, who competes....while riding Peruna.
  19. First Team All Conference....Lone Star Conference. Also....that league's Offensive Lineman Of The Year
  20. Here ya go............The Meet Results...scroll down for Team Results https://www.tfrrs.org/results/78270/2023_North_Texas_Classic
  21. Yesterday.....somewhere.....I found full results. I can't find them now though. And from what I could tell.........the men finished third and the women finished first. There were some good teams there....Baylor, SMU, ACU and Tarleton....were ones I remember. Our school hosts the CUSA championship in early-mid May. I think we might at least put up a good effort.
