Also, we need someone with Texas ties. We shouldn't go after anyone without Texas ties. If we do get a higher profile coach I can only hope the naming rights to our new stadium go to his salary.

Not Fran! He had EVERYTHING at his disposal at Texas A&M: talent, fantastic facilities, etc. and couldn't win.

Point taken, I agree. But I feel like it is worse when a teams fans/alum think they are world beaters and have nothing to base those actions on. In reality they have done nothing except past mediocrity and a couple of good seasons. I would be talking about Texas Tech alum/fans. Atleast those other schools have something to show for.

Great game. I don't understand all of the hate for UT. From my experience Texas Tech alum/fans are the worst.

The Baylor game is going to have my attention. Kinda excited to see what Art Briles brings to Baylor.

First year in along time, but I'm going to pass on NCAA for Madden this year. Madden looks to be vastly improved over last yrs version.

In the late 1960's the Iowa Park Hawks (3a high school football team, in the 60's 2a) had the Mean Green nickname and put it to good use when they won the 1969 and 1970 2a State Championships... the nickname has somewhat stuck around. The car wash in town is called the 'Mean Green Car Wash' and the Iowa Park High School marching band is referred to as 'The Mean Green Marching Machine'. Will we ever solve this mystery. Also, does anyone have the stats for the 1968 defense?

Damn... The stadium will be built out of plastic jewelry and will fall apart within 1 yr, but on the plus side we can have a Sam Moon store inside the stadium and attract about 2.5 million women from DFW that seem to love plastic jewelry. Hmmm.

23 110's seem a little overkill and borderline torture, 99% of all track workout consist of less than 23 110's... an average play lasts less than 3 seconds, I think it would be more beneficial for the lineman to run 25 30yd dashes.

I kinda feel bad for them...
