I haven't followed the QB issue up till now, but I'm wondering, was Greer good in high school? I saw "Johnny Football's" first performance with Cleveland Browns and that wasn't impressive either even with all the hype. So at the change of level, a lot of good QB's don't look too hot when they start playing at the new level. Having said that, Greer didn't look like he knew how to throw a pass, of any distance. Please tell me he was good while he was in high school and it's just turned out that college is just too fast for him. In addition to just having really poor aim, he spent WAY too much time just standing there or telegraphing his pass well in advance. I find myself shouting at the TV "Throw the ball!!!!" Anyone would get flushed out holding onto the ball that long.

Hmmm, not really. First game (Austin) to last game (San Antonio) and everything in between! :-) Oh, I see, I left out the CUSA championship and wherever we go bowling this year! Gotcha! GMG!

As long as the Mean Green leave a trail of destruction from Austin to San Antonio (and everywhere in between) I couldn't care less what was on the helmet or the unis. I just want W's! GMG!

So proud of the job that Coach Lama & company have done with this team over the years. He knows what he's doing and has brought in increasingly more talented players over the years. Good luck Mean Green Tennis! Gotta love the "UN". :-)

Well, I won't be able to go, but just upgraded my cable so I could get ESPNU. Of course, THIS had to be the year I'm not living in Texas! Arrrrrgh!!!! Oh well, got my HOD Bowl t-shirt on order. Go Mean Green!!

Does anyone know exactly what channel this game will be broadcast on? I understand "ESPN Regional Network" has the game, but will this be ESPN2, ESPNU? I'm not sure if my cable provider can get it or not but I need to know what to ask for. I'm in St Louis, MO and have Charter. We get all of the "Midwest" regional stuff here, but it might be possible to get it with an upgraded sports package. Thanks! GMG!

FINALLY!!! Yes, in the recent past, this would have been a 60-7 blowout. I've personally been to a few of those in Austin and Norman. I wish I could have seen this game though. Seems like now that we are on TV more, it's more difficult to actually watch the game if you aren't in the DFW area (nothing on the net). Maybe that won't be the case later in the season. In any case, it's fantastic to see my Mean Green win some, or in this case, hang tough with some quality opponents. I'll actually get to see the last 2 games of the regular season live in person and am very much looking forward to that. I hope this is just a preview of good things to come. GMG!

Yes, Coach Lama has done a spectacular job and the team just keeps getting better and better. The current group of students he has are all absolutely amazing ladies that are equally skilled athletically and academically. Great things are ahead for this group. They've already been conference champs. They've already been nationally ranked. Time to perform well at the NCAA's. Why not the Mean Green?! Go get 'em!

I recently moved to the St Louis area and I have to brag on my Div II UMSL Tritons. These guys are shooting over 80% FT as a team! That was one of my biggest gripes with UNT for years is how dreadful we were in the FT%. How many games were lost by 2 points, 4 points, etc? You have to hit those free throws to win. My dad talks of growing up in Kentucky where if you weren't able to hit at least 75-80% of your free throws you didn't make the team. Sad thing is that it mostly just takes practice and when they slack off drilling free throws in practice you can tell by the result on the court. Hopefully UNT can get it's act together before the SBC tournament. As long as your hot in late February-March that really is what counts. Missing the Super Pit but still follwing the Mean Green on the net. GMG!

Anyone planning on being at the game at SLU on the 5th? I recently moved to the area and plan on being in the stands in green. GMG!

Just curious, but did anyone else notice that the Green Brigade was repeatedly not playing the entire fight song Saturday night? The part they kept leaving out was the "U...N...T...UNT Eagles Fight Fight Fight!" Same thing happened at the volleyball game last Friday night. The basketball band played the whole thing tonight though. Just wondering if something "official" changed or if the band was just taking a bit of artist license.

Congrats to Coach Aston & team on another win. Just love her spirit and attitude and looking forward to where she takes this team in the future.

Glad to hear the Freshmen are doing well. Have had a chance to meet these new ladies and am very impressed with their attitude and EXPECTATION to win.
