  1. I should have just sent you a PM. Thanks Tasty, and go 103!
  2. Does anyone have any idea why the Sun Belt Tourney site only lists 11 teams for the men's tournament, but 12 for the women's? Did they post a year early in preparation for Denver's departure? http://www.sunbeltsports.org/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=4100&ATCLID=205331183
  3. Didn't realize our RPI was that poor. Great season regardless. Rare to see a Sun Belt soccer championship game without North Texas or Denver.
  4. Any chance to go to the NCAA tourney as an at-large bid?
  5. That is great news! Good to hear we achieved Platinum status.
  6. Stop coming in here and stating things logically. We're trying to freak out for no reason and you aren't helping!
  7. I would consider myself a pretty big Rangers fan - I did have a 10 game pack this year and went to Opening Day as well. I gave up the opportunity to buy tickets for the ALCS so I could go the UNT game. I was really hoping for the Yankees last night so I could go to both, but when it didn't work out, my allegiance lies with my alma mater #1. Go Mean Green and Rangers!
  8. Why didn't you give me more warning? I've been training by kicking seats all summer just to get ready for the season. And now this?
  9. I'll be on my best behavior until I see Tony dunk over somebody, then all bets are off.
  10. Glad you found the info. My search didn't get me anywhere, other than finding the 2010 date.
  11. I believe the rules were changed recently to allow women's teams to practice before the men's. Last years first practice was on October 15. I can't find anything about the dates this year.
  12. I was told that the best place to park is on the street east of Harvard. Many of the close by lots are for donars/season tickets/etc only. Tailgate information can be found here: http://stadium.meangreensports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=1810&ATCLID=205237668
  13. Myself, MeanGreenScrappy, MeanGreenSoho, and 3 others are there.
  14. Do you know anyone out there who doesn't go in to the game? If you tailgate by them, I'm sure they wouldn't mind keeping an eye on your stuff until you get back. Our tailgating group has some non-UNT football fans in it, so we have several people who come to hang out and don't go to the game with us. If you set up by us or a similar group, I'm sure no one would mind watching your belongings during the game.
  15. JROCK- Thanks for much for your hospitality and great music selection. Your home brew "tailgating ale" was outstanding. Keep up the great work in helping to make our tailgating atmospehere even better!
  16. Fouts was relatively calm, although there were definately some groups tailgating. We spent the day there since a friend was able to bring a camper. We won't have it for any games going forward, so I think we will try the Apogee side from the Blue/Red lots for the Indiana game. Anybody have any good recommendations?
  17. 24-21 Mean Green. Defense makes a late stand to hold on for the victory.
  18. Sounds like our young energetic females will spend a considerable portion of the weekend wet.
  19. We usually have a pretty good sized group. Although many of us go in to the game, usually a few choose not to and stay to guard the stuff. I really hope they don't enforce this. It would be nice to not have to tear the tailgate down just to set it back up for the postgame tailgate!
