I will predict we will win by our largest margin ever against MTSU. I understand that we have a ? at QB, but the RB and receivers are the best we have ever had. The LB core is better than last year. MTSU is not a very consistant team. They did not do well in the opener. (Only 157 total yards against a weak Alabama team. Mental edge goes to UNT I say UNT wins big.

????? "Lost respectably" and "moral victory" Only 157 yards of total offense and 9 first downs. 123 yards passing and 34 rushing. That would be almost 100 yards less than ULL had against UT, so I guess that ULL has a "moral victory" against UT. I would say that if MTSU has only 157 yards and 9 1st downs against any SBC team they will not win a game, and this was a 6-6 Alabama team last year, with a losing record in conf. I am glad; however, that it is showing in articles that it was "respectable'. People believe what they read if they dont look at the stats the belt will look better, and that is always good for the belt.

All SBC teams are getting smoked today. Except Troy, but they are not playing the same caliber teams as the rest of the belt to open the season.

Contrats to Troy for a Sunbelt win. I just wish it would have been a D1 team.

Looks like MTSU is going down. I didn't give them much of a chance, but had high hopes. It is going as expected. Close the 1st half, but then Alabama pulling away. The trend of hanging in there and then the BCS team pulling away is in effect.....and it drives me nuts. I have high hopes and ahhhhhhhh. FAU and FIU had an OK showing. They lost, but no blowout.

OHHHHHH what a glorious day. Now if ND gets whipped my day will be complete.

UNT has been great for the Sunbelt. I think without the press they have gotten for being the 4 time champs that the Sunbelt would be getting no mention. If ASU, then MTSU, then UNT, then ULL won then I think the belt would not get a 2nd glance.

I am so tired of this. There was no problems with this a few years ago, and now the gripe wagon is on the move. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG OR OFFENSIVE WITH THE WORDS INDIAN, ETC. That is like being offended if someone calls me an AMERICAN. And I have to say that "I am proud to be an American". Can some of these groups find more productive things to do with their time? Raise money for Cancer, etc.

I am Native American/American Indian, and I get so tired of the gripes. I think it is an honor to have names of schools such as the "Indians", etc. And I get offended when people want to remove them. This crap drives me crazzzzzy.

This happened to me with NCAA 2005. I took it back to the store (Circuit City) and they gladly exchanged it. The 2nd copy worked fine. Most stores will exchange for EXACT copy. They usually only gripe if you are trying to get a different title.

Just for the record might have been able to get 400 yards rushing between them, but wanted eat up the clock in the 4th quarter. After the long bomb I realized what always pissed me off about EA Football in the 1st place (yup... you know the one.... the hail marry into coverage with all 11 players on him, but he somehow makes the catch-breaks the tackles-and scores). ....but the game is greatness, and I have only played the one dynasty game. So what do I know. (don't answer that)

Both Thomas and Cobbs are great. Over 300 Yards split between the 2 on my 1st game. At first J. Mo was not doing well vs. LSU, but put in Cobbs and the dynamics changed. I put Thomas back in and he started tearing it up. I continued to rotate, and won 31 - 14. Was I surprised to see the predictable EA Football where no matter what the computer will score in the 4th if you are winning, and will do it with a long bomb into tripple coverage? I love this game, but Sega 2K5 NFL control and graphics I will miss.

Actually this version makes you start the recruiting process during the season. To some it is fun, to me it's not. I do not like to micromanage. If I want to micromanage I like the old pc footballgames of the 90's. Anyone remember the old frontpage series. I know I am old.

I love the series, but have one question.... Is there an auto recruiting feature. I like to spend my time playing and not recruiting. I admit I had switched over to Sega, but have no choice now.

Easy ....LA Tech. Reason is UNT playes their best mid/late season. Tulsa is game 3. UNT usually finds it's grove in Game 4.

Not to the same extent as in ESPN NFL 2K5. Not even close. And NCAA 2005 locks up on me often (cannot read disK). All other games are fine. I even switched it out at the store and my Xbox still has problems reading new one. NFL 2K5 and all the games my daughter plays have no problems. But again NCAA 2005 is a GREAT GAME. It is like asking "do you like the Porshe or the Ferarri?". For $57 total I choose both.

I switched over to playing stricktly ESPN NFL 2K5. I am tired of 1 for 17 passing in NCAA football. I found myself running at 3rd and 22 in order to try and get that 1st down. That is when I switch. Not that NCAA football 2004 is bad, just frustrating at times. Needed a break, and for $16.99 with better reviews than any other FB game....(19.99 regular price) Is the AI in ESPN bad.???...No.....You can adjust every aspect of the AI. Graphics....awesome, and much better than NCAA (on Xbox anyway). Running game.....harder than NCAA. Passing....easier than NCAA. Presentation.....ESPN by far. Fealing like your there.....NCAA. Features about the same. Control....ESPN. Quantity of teams....NCAA. Stats....NCAA. Fun Factor......ESPN. FOR UNDER $20 YOU ESPN NFL 2K5 IS A MUST. IF IT WERE $50 IT WOULD BE A MUST. THIS IS FROM A MADDEN FAN...

Just an FYI....NCAA Football 2005 is a great game, but for $16.99 ESPN NFL 2K5 is also a great game. Thought you football fans might want to know it was on sale at Circuit City, or price match at Wal-Mart, etc.

Just finished my 1st season. 10-1. I also lost to UT (24-7). But 60-0 vs ULL (I had to run up the score). The thing that ticks me off....before the 1st game even started the "disipline" feature kicked in. I had 3 players that needed attention. Then half way through the season P.Cobbs came up with academic issues, and had to bench him. Still won the game, but....ahhhhhhhh. About to start the New Orleans bowl. I am ranked 12 in the nation. Also I am averaging around 400 YPG (I run the ball almost every play)....My offensive rank = 119 Wow what kind of power offences are the other teams playing with. Anyone else having disk read issues on this game. I thought it might be my Xbox, but all the other games are working fine. Enough gripping. The game is great, but sill might have to get ESPN NFL football 2K5. It is $20 new. So much football...so little time. IF IT'S FOOTBALL IT'S GOOD!!!
