Geez ... do we need a money game right before the new stadium opener? That'll take the edge off. I'd really rather play a lesser opponent for the first home game - how about a MAC team? I'm not sure why there's all this UT hatred going on. Must be a bunch of closet A&M fans. * Texas isn't afraid to go to the Big 10 and compete. They would instantly have the best football, baseball, and men's basketball teams. The Big 10 hasn't lived up to their reputation since the late 90's. * The SEC West is deep but no deeper than the Big 12 South. The SEC East is weak other than Florida. A&M can continue to be mediocre in the SEC but have more money. * Being in the SEC won't give A&M much of a recruiting boost if they can't get more wins. As long as Texas is winning they will continue to have their pick. * It doesn't matter how things turn out: Texas will do well and A&M will continue to be mediocre.

Could happen but it would only be a momentary pause. I believe there would still be a lot of manuvering of the mid to smaller schools over the next couple of years and then another major shift in 5 to 10 years. I just don't see this scenario above hold for the long term.

The Dallas Cowboys are the real team of Dallas. For college Texas is the team of Dallas.

Depends ... were his misses all from 40 plus yards? Were they blocked because of bad blocking? Bad weather? If they were three chip shot misses I would be worried but if he's that highly rated probably not.

Perhaps you have each division team have one "rival" in the other division they play every year. Michigan and Ohio St could be in seperate divisions but play each other every year. It's an idea.

Wow! I wasn't expecting Dale to be on board with keeping Dodge. I have no problem giving Dodge one more year.

If I was a coordinator I would probably want to be in the booth. It's hard to see anything from the playing field ... especially anything on the other side of the field. I remember coaching JV ball with all coaches on the field. I broke out a trips formation towards our side. After the play I heard their coaches yelling to their players "Were they in trips over there?" They didn't know and I was able to get about three plays off before they got things together. I think they may have burned a timeout. It was funny but it's a good example of how hard it can be to see things on other side of the field. If I was head coach it would give my coordinators the option whether to be on the field or in the booth.

Since I live in Virginia driving would be a big deal.
