I wouldn't place a bet on that happening. Baker has developed a pattern of hiring head coaches who previously have head coaching experience.

How can y'all say it's the same old defense? We weren't down 21-0 in the first quarter like the last two years. The defense played terrific but got worn down because the offense left them on the field too long.

Corrective measures should have been taken on the spot. How hard is it to place a security guard there?

We've stuck with one qb for two weeks and it's not good. Seth can't wait too long or he'll lose the team - literally and figuratively.

Yep. Ruder is awful.

Gosh, Ruder is awful on deep passes. Every throw is too deep, hangs in the air, or over the wrong shoulder. Are we sure he's better than Aune?

I don't like using Torrey on that play. There's a lot of traffic and he's not going to break any tackles.

I'm mostly concerned about Ruder's game. 10/21 is bad even with the drops. If it takes him half the season so get going then it might cost Littrell his job. If he continues playing this way in the first half of the SMU game, don't be surprised to see Aune in the second half.

I was only watching, not listening, to the final few minutes. It seemed once La Tech got into long distance field goal position they still had another minute to get closer. Instead, they choose to try the long kick which came up short. Maybe I missed something but it seems their coach got way too conservative at the end and it cost them.
