Multiple long range t-shirt cannons. Put a multi-shot t-shirt cannon on a golf cart and let Scrappy light up a different section. 5. Free beer.

Starting in 2025 the SEC & Big Ten will each have 16 teams and be able to start hosting conference semi-finals, pulling in a billon dollars a year each in media rights and will mostly likely take 3 out of the 4 Playoff Spots leaving the ACC, Big 12, & PAC-10 to compete for the remaining playoff spot. Sounds like this will force the CFP to expand to 6 or 8 teams, which may work to AAC's advantage by creating more access to playoffs, thus creating a path for the Mean Green to win it all.

According to CBS Sports via Google. In order for an FBS team to officially become bowl-eligible, it needs at least six wins with a minimum winning percentage of .500. A total of 82 teams are needed to fill all 41 bowl games. Teams can only count one win against an FCS opponent toward the total number of wins needed for bowl eligibility. I don't think the reddit-webs are correct about Long Island State, they've been in the FCS since 2019.

MTSU has already accepted their bowl bid to the Bahamas. Bowl committees make the selection from available conference affiliations with a consult from the network. Bowl committees looks for schools that can fill their ticket allotments and sell more seats.

I think exiting CUSA actually hurts our bowl chances. The bowls are aligned with conferences and CUSA is likely to lobby to MTSU over UNT. But fortunately for us bowl committees are going to compare schools head to head, so UNT probably comes out ahead over MTSU. The bowl committee cares about Better attendance, ticket sales. The Network cares about better media market, better signature win (UTSA vs UConn), second half of the season to carry over to a bowl.

There's something like 41 bowl games, so 82 slots. After all 6 wins teams have been slotted, if there any open slots its goes to the 5 wins teams with the best grades/APR. UNT was something like #85 in APR last year. I think we were in the 50's when we used APR to get into bowl in 2016.

UL-M and NMSU are still trash. The new CUSA is also a flaming dumpster fire. UNT is annoying to SMU, but nowhere on the level as NMSU is to UTEP and UL-M is to LA Tech.

I'm all for being the bigger person, but the new CUSA is a trash conference. Worse than the 2001 SBC. If your LA Tech why do you stay? Just go to the Belt, if they will have you.
