  1. Not so highly rated but good size at 6’ 2” https://247sports.com/Player/Nahamani-Harris-46082824/
  2. Not to mention WKy fans predilection for goat intimacy...
  3. Glass houses, boys. Some of you cats are ugly.
  4. They run the ball well and average over 5 yards a carry. The most points they have given up was 34 to Coastal Carolina. Next largest was 26. Nothing about this matchup gives me any confidence. If we hold them under 40 and we score more than 20 then I will be shocked.
  5. I wonder if we ever inquired. Could have definitely done worse. Would have been good for the QBs. Not saying he would have been the answer but just curious what Seth is thinking at this point.
  6. I don’t think we will hear much else. The discussion of his size will dominate any conversation about his chances.
  7. Any chance they move it to a domed stadium so the roof can collapse?
  8. Safe bet. I am not really in favor of bringing in a one year guy at this point. We have five QBs in the room with Drummond coming in. We already brought in a transfer QB to compete next fall. If we bring in another, how many guys transfer out? Would that not set us back longer term and necessitate bringing another short term solution? I don’t know, maybe I am stuck in the past in my thinking about player development. I just feel like we invested scholarships and time into our recruits and I want to see that pay off.
  9. Listening to his post game comments, I would expect him to play in the bowl.
  10. I would guess we are paying to play, much like our CBI invite. Hopefully Don Vito and/or Brune do some digging.
  11. I do have to admit I was impressed with Leblanc. I think he played well. Was probably tired out in the second half but that is understandable.
  12. Wren should send the squadron a swag pack with a battle flag and autographed helmet (with the appropriate logo of course). Then push it out to to the media as a feel-good story. Could make a little hay out of it.
  13. Maybe one of the big boys lost their top guy and re-offered.
  14. I don’t want him fired but I want Wren to set some clear expectations. For me that would include a QB coach with a strong resume (and no skeletons in his closet) and turning over the play calling to an OC.
  15. My guess is that we will see multiple fronts (we already do as evidenced by 4-5 guys on the line against UTEP) but that we will see a traditional 4-man front a majority of the time. I sure hope all the DL recruits sign this class because we might need all of them to run it. At one point Friday we were down to one DT when LeBlanc went out.
  16. Could be a good option (pun intended) for a bottom feeder a P5 conference because it is a pain the the ass for the opposition. I would say it helped GaTech in the ACC. Maybe Rutgers or Vandy might opt for it. The service academies use it pretty well to stay competitive against better teams.
  17. I think that is a fair point. Also we don’t know what Aune would look like in a full season. So many of his stats were from parts of games, some starting, some in relief, some mop-up. In general I like what I see from him but during the game I was afraid he was going to get Simpson killed on those intermediate sideline throws he floated in there. Simpson was very vulnerable on 2-3 of those. I also still like Bean back there. He can also make the throws and his legs have to be accounted for. I am not sure Seth did a good job of game planning for him. I agree he is a little more raw than Aune but that 70-yd TD breakaway speed could be a killer. Bottom line is that I hope we have a spring to figure this out because I don’t know another year of “playing the hot hand” is sustainable. Ok in a Covid rebuilding year I guess but next year (assuming some level of normality) I think we need to pick a guy and build the offense around him.
