  1. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
  2. Same. I knew if I logged on to GMG it would jinx it. I said beforehand that if Purdue scored 60 they would probably win. Well 61 at the end of regulation and we didn’t lose, thankfully! Hell of a game and fantastic performance.
  3. Rabies doesn’t count.
  4. @TheTastyGreek can this be moved to the bball forum for more visibility?
  5. So we are kind of hiring but not hiring him? And so if we don’t like how he runs the ST unit we hire someone else after wasting spring ball running the ST unit one way and then starting over in the summer? I fine with hiring the guy but just hire him and move forward.
  6. Sadly, yes. But most of them didn’t play for the school.
  7. Too bad he is retired and isn’t funny anymore.
  8. This is something I mentioned during some of our discussions over the last year. They are still trying to understand the lasting effects of COVID but they certainly are not pleasant for those who have them. Seems a portion of people (I don’t have the stats yet) deal with a range of symptoms for weeks or even months. COVID is going to continue to strain our already strained healthcare system long after we are vaccinated. Thought I would share in case there was interest.
  9. Conversely, what do you think the chances are you go big early to try to get our starting front court in foul trouble?
  10. Good look at the South region
  11. Seems weird to announce in the middle of spring ball but maybe there was a conversation that happened?
  12. I absolutely thought the game was over, turned off the game, then a couple minutes later turned it back on and finished it. So glad I did.
  13. I have a CBS sports app on my phone and I am going to try to watch there
  14. My UNT degree years are in my board name.
  15. Not trying to pick on you but you spoke up so responding to that. You really made my point above. I don’t know and you don’t know if you passed it along. Chances are pretty decent that you did given the spread of the virus in Texas and the US in general. It’s a pretty prolific little virus. Hopefully you didn’t. And sorry that your family got it - and I should have said that in the first place.
  16. Four star athlete already with 15+ offers and probably going to OKieSt https://247sports.com/player/braylin-presley-46085537/
  17. I doubt we can land this kid but holy cow this is some badass graphics work and the kids seem to eat it up:
  18. And the people that you all passed the virus to all did fine as well? And what about the ones who got it from them? The “I was fine” crowd is a big part of why we are still stuck in this cycle.
  19. Looks like he already has a lot of good offers
  20. https://247sports.com/Player/Jeremiah-Cooper-46113793/ 19 offers including a handful of P5. A little late to the party on this one.
  21. Masks protect the wearer, but protect them best if the infected person is also wearing a mask. You know this by now. I think at first there was hesitancy to introduce mask wearing because there was major uncertainty about how COVID was transmitted. That science did continue to evolve for several months. Fauci has also noted (and this has been mentioned on GMG previously in threads in which you participated) was that initially there was a concern that if the CDC went all in on masks at that point, there would be such a run on PPE that medical personnel would end up without a supply of PPE when regular citizens gobbled it all up. In some areas, that did happen even without a mask mandate. I think they should have gone all-in on masks early and hesitating was a mistake. It would have taken more decisive government action to meet our supply deficit, which never really happened.
