  1. If you go to Rosa’s Cantina stay away from Felina. She’s trouble.

  2. Nice promotion. If this season is like the past handful we should put 911 on our helmets.

  4. My good friend coached against him and said he was tough as nails and very physical. Every team he played against was trying to shut him down as their game plan.

  7. I did my basic training at Ft. Bliss the summer of 1966. Dry heat is a myth, and there is nothing blissful about basic.

  8. I like this addition. In size, he reminds me of Torrey. He's a capable runner and receiver, also like Torrey. I would imagine that Patrick can coach him up a little...he doesn't need much. I'm beginning to believe that these PWOs will end up being a colored shirt...blue, gray, whatever. I believe that we are very near the total scholarships allowed for this year (85). We have some quality athletes that have been first and second team all-state getting PWOs.

  13. Hell no. I lived in El Paso for two years while stationed at Fort Bliss. Although Fort Bliss has probably tripled in size since the arrival of First Armored Division from Germany. Definitely lots of Soldiers there now. If you are a young single man, they have some nice looking ladies.

  19. I'm actually going over the edge on June 10th and will be their "Kick Off" rappeller the night prior to the other participants because our department's Child Safety Fair event is 10a-2p on the 11th (speaking of which, I invite you all to bring your kids or spread the word to friends to bring their kids to the Safety Fair...there will be a TON of information and free stuff. Event link here: https://fb.me/e/mKaHLkhsM )

  20. I think the question was answered in the tweet. Shorter and Bush are returning to a group that had to "grow up a little quicker" since they were pushed in to starting positions. This group, if they stay healthy, should be a strength.

  26. We have a winner. Andy Brewster arrived on campus after leading Midland Lee to back to back state championships and a 31-1 record over his junior and senior year. He was a 6'2" 230 lb. undersized center that started his freshman year and never relinquished that position starting every game, 50 in a row. He was still somewhat undersized as a senior at 275 lbs. but was consistently the best offensive lineman on the team that won four straight Sun Belt titles. He was selected to the All-Century Team in 2013 and inducted in to the Hall of Fame in 2015.

  28. Uh, I trust you, but man I hope you're wrong and that we secretly have more. On the bright side, our pals in the Ukraine are actually showing us quite a bit about the capabilities of Russia's military (or lack thereof).

  29. Done.....these groups do amazing work with kids. Side note: I came across this type of organization when I was on a jury one time in an abuse case....let's just say the testimony was awful.....being the father of young children, I didn't sleep for days after this trial hearing what happened to this innocent child. They put this sweet kid back together. They do great work. And the investigation helped put the abuser away for a long time.

  32. Sissoko is a 6' 10," high level 3 star (0.8689), Top 500 rated player in the country in 2019 when signed to Dayton. Stats do not look great at all at Dayton, but we know that players tend to play their best within systems that compliment them. Hopefully, McCasland can develop him into a star at UNT.
