I don’t know the answer to your question, but here is what I do know. Grant McCasland - 1 CBI title, 2 conference titles, 1 NCAA upset win, on pace for 20+ wins this season Andrew - None of that 👆17 points

Stack another win! Pit was fun atmosphere tonight. Loudest it’s been all season on the run down the stretch where we reasserted total control and forced the timeout. The Mean Green Maniacs make a big difference in the overall energy of the place and it spills over to the crowd at large at times. Will only get better as Spring semester rolls along. Side note: I want everyone on the forum to know that I, Green Lantern, laid eyes on @emmitt01in the concourse. I’ll take all your Ray upvotes now…16 points

No one questions multi year contracts. I think people question baseless extensions while still having multi years left on contract.10 points

Watching teams’ fan boards go into meltdown every time they play us never gets old.9 points

I’m fine with it. Overlook us. Please, don’t bring your best effort when you play North Texas, because we aren’t “that great.” We’ll just keep hanging banners.9 points

early answer from my sources says it is a hip, not to believe to be serious, was not able to return but should be ready for next weekend.9 points

I'm going to take the few moments needed to spell this out to you, knowing of course it will land on deaf ears since logic has for like 10+ years now your opinion is fine. there isn't a single poster here who would rather have a 7 (now maybe 6) man rotation over a 10 man rotation. I'd love to have 10 trusted guys who are competent on offense and efficient and bought in on defense. we simply do not have that. and there are conversations to be had around GM's recruiting and maybe even trust issues to be had regarding why we don't have a deeper rotation. up 10+ in the second half of a conference game nearing the end of January really isn't the time to have that conversation. this team/system/rotation is what it is at this point. and to continue to make posts about recruiting or players who aren't going to factor in the rest of the season...while up 10+ in the second half of a conference game nearing the end of January...is both asinine and annoying. if (big if, please no hoop-jesus) Perry is out any extended period of time, that does not mean that Stone or Zephir or Wright is about to step in and play a role. everyone (Andrew) needs to prepare themselves for that reality. I think you'll see Bell logging quick burst minutes at the 3 and shorter shifts for everyone...basically from the under first 16 minute timeout moving forward there will pretty much always be a body at the scorer's table. maybe 30 second runs for a deep bench dude heading into a timeout or something...but I'd anticipate Abou and Scott averaging 25-28 minutes while everyone else is in the mid 30s moving forward.8 points

I thought Rubin played a really solid game today. He hit some big threes throughout the game and made those clutches free throws on the double tech. Outside of that, he controlled the pace of the game and played his typical strong defense. He came up big when needed in Tyler's absence.7 points

Great atmosphere and crowd tonight! Really excited about the remainder of this season. Prayers for Tylor and hope he can return to the team soon.7 points

Death, Taxes, and Andrew complaining about something ( recruiting, bench play, where Emmitt sits, why Mac isn't the second coming of Vic Trili ect...)7 points

Good to hear. Hard to see us winning at La Tech without him. I know we can hold people but his offense is huge when things get sloppy for us on O.7 points

THAT was your tipping point? I mean, I 120% agree with you that was a silly comparison, but he lost me about 35 posts (and a likely restraining order) ago7 points

Who is their AD? They reached out to a beloved coach to right this ship, but you want your own guys on the staff and only want to sign him to two years? That's not how this works.7 points

Yeah, they aren't paying attention. Every guy who plays for us is efficient on both sides of the ball. Basically, we get good, shots, defend like crazy, take away what you want to do, impose our will on you... You know, the opposite of our football team. But since we don't have some hot shot scorer or stud recruit they can't figure it out.6 points

And if he's having fun, more power to him. IMO, Aune has done nothing wrong. As far as I know, he's working hard, has a good attitude, and is respected in the locker room. He has some talent but can be frustratingly wild and often doesn't progress past the first receiver in the route list. If UNT doesn't have a better QB than Aune, that's on the coaches.6 points

Never been terribly impressed with their fans. Glad to be leaving them behind.5 points

Agree, I wish Vito or someone else would just ask Coach Mac. If he isn't injured I would think he isn't giving the coaches what they want during practice.4 points

Agreed. I don't know how some people don't think he's on the hot seat next season. I really think a lot of people who try to argue he isn't on the hot seat/can't be fired next season are just trolling.4 points

Let's bring him in for a post game concert at the Super Pit during basketball season. Rap isn't my cup of tea, but I bet he would draw a big crowd.4 points

I've heard similar remarks; sounded like he'll be fine and ready for Thursday's tilt with the Golden Eagles.4 points

Many seem to assume that McCasland does not use the bench because of lack of talent. That is basically a guess because no one has actually seen any extended play pass the first 7 players. I don't think for a minute that McCasland recruits players to sit on the bench. My take is that Zephyr, Stone, Wright, Browne are probably just as good as other CUSA's teams' deep bench. McCasland is a defense first and values experience way over potential. He is going to stick with an extremely tight rotation and unless a player demonstrates he is currently in the top seven; he is highly unlikely to play. This philosophy is further exacerbated by McCasland's slow methodical offense with just does not often generate big leads that allows a lot of substitutions.4 points

The Emmitt bit will probably run its course once we go dancing again… 🤞 If you know how to get out of taxes that soon DM me…4 points

If Littrell can identify a QBs coach worth anything, watch what happens to Aune, Ruder, et al. They’ll look like totally different players. Im not talking about hiring another former-Briles GA. I’m talking about a legit guy.4 points
