Let's take a blind look at that position, specifically RBs listed on roster not named Torrey. We know what he brings. This is a perfect time and place for us to see this unfold. I will drink the Mean Green Koolaid and say it will happen. This week coaches will take a look at RBs 1-3 above, and witness enough potential production to keep DT in a more pass-catching role. I feel this way yet, at the same time, I'm still gonna hurt about Adaway. My personal belief was 2021 was going to reveal a trifecta (Ruder, Shorter, Adaway) that Denton has not seen a good while. Reasons for pessimism: lack of evidence. We are at a point in SL's tenure where most fans are in "I'll believe it when I see it" mode. I think we've seen some KJ, but not enough to negate any concerns about the loss of Adaway. Also, really tough to replace a motor like Adaway's. That level of intensity is rare. Adaway is a big loss, but let's not devalue who we have on the roster. Adaway, coming out of high school, was a 3-star (.8369) recruit at 6' and 208 lbs. Here's is what we have. Ragsdale: 3-star (.8372); 6' 213 lbs. and with a better offer list. Johnson: 3-star (.8167); 6' 200 lbs. I got to see him play some in HS and would state that is rating was a little low IMHO. Jackson: 3-star (.8364); 5' 10" 195 lbs. and wit a better offer list. We are going to be alright.

UNT had a billboard off Greenville/SMU Blvd a couple years ago. I think the impact it makes on either side is probably a bit overblown.

I think today’s scrimmage shows by reps that Seth is starting Aune against NWS. No matter who you were pulling for it’s time we all came together and put our full support behind Aune as camp is over and the season has begun.

I agree! He has had less time to prepare with the offense and can only get better. If he is as good as Aune is now, in a few weeks time when more comfortable with the offense, he should be night and day better than Aune, the fact people have them neck and neck is more telling of Ruder than Aune IMO. Ill Cheer for whoever, but doesnt mean I dont have a preference. We already know what Aune can and cant do.

I believe any QB in Seth's Offense will have numbers at or near the top and statistically be very good. We have shown that we can put up "numbers". What I hope we see is a QB, that when the game is on the line, can control the game and finish.

We could say the same about all the money UNT has invested in football with little to show for it in terms of won/loss record and our inability to get actual people to attend games.

Lauren had a final round of 72...finishes -2 overall....tied for 38th. Easily advances to the next qualifying tournament in October. Way to go Lauren!

He had all conference written all over him. Time for the younger ones to step up. Luckily we have a stable. Going to miss seeing adaway.

Agreed I have read similar and that many other viruses may be dealt with from this technology which is great news.

Can’t say for sure but Ragsdale looked the part in the clips I saw of fall camp. Definitely recall him running over someone.
