I think Emmitt01 is dating Bean... if not, he needs to be.

Littrell has the football program headed in the right direction. We are starting to get some serious impact play from young players on this roster who were part of elite recruiting classes, who are being followed by more elite recruiting classes. Littrell is a good coach, he has won a lot of games here already, and this is the best state our roster has been in, top to bottom, since he got here. Mccasland is special. He might be one of the best coaches we’ve ever had at North Texas. I really think he either ends up coaching a high major program or turns us into a perennial elite mid major program. Littrell is a good coach, but Mccasland is just a step above that and that’s not an indictment on Littrell.

2017: FAU 69, UNT 31, CCG: FAU 41 UNT 17, Bowl: Troy 50 UNT 30 2018: Bowl: Utah State 52 UNT 13 2019: Two 20+ point losses to Houston and SMU. 2020: SMU 65-35, UTSA curb stomping us before half, likely to be a blowout barring a miracle. We don't just lose every big game, we get our asses handed to us.

Before anyone says we had a lot of turnover at coaching and missed Spring training, UTSA got a completely new staff and didn't have Spring training either. They had much more turnover.

Bring Bean back out after half. At worst, it's playing time and a learning situation. At best, he gives us our best chance for big plays. His ceiling is higher and floor is lower, but let's ride the coaster. Look, I know this is probably over, but score after half, two score game. Feed Adaway - dude is special. He'll have five years to carry the rock here, gonna own every record.

UTEP-Rice and MTSU-FAU games set for tomorrow were both cancelled. Southern Miss-UAB and La Tech-FIU were also cancelled prior to today, and WKU-Charlotte was pushed back to Tuesday. We are the only game in the conference still set to be played tomorrow. Tough decisions ahead for CUSA if they plan on still playing the conference championship game. If we can win these next two, someone previously suggested CUSA step in and have us play UAB instead of UTEP on the 12th. Something like that may be the most fair. Would be great for conference leadership to step in and start being proactive instead reactive with the remaining conference slate. Edit: UTEP-Rice still on. Tweet embedded was referring to their basketball game.

Where to start? McCasland appears to be an excellent coach. However, the soccer program is the most successful program at NT. Softball is great and should get even better. Volleyball also is very strong. It is time for Mitchell to have the ladies basketball in a championship race. Played very short-handed last year, but look good and deep this year. As far as football, lets wait till season end to fully evaluate. Their start was disappointing, but they may end strong. I can't imaginee Littrell not getting at least another year. Swimming and diving is at best mediocre. Tennis and Men's Golf are competitive. Women's golf is very good. Overall, I think NT sports is as good as it has ever been.

I don’t hate the decision to go for it in 4th and 2. Also glad they didn’t do the same predictable run up the middle. They tried a screen to Darden and the D sniffed it out. It happens. But I don’t hate the call.

Celina had a BIG win tonight. It was so nice being at Apogee again. The Bobcats will play either Graham or Aubrey next Friday at Apogee again. Thurs for UNT and Fri for Celina - it should be a fun week for me :)
