Sophomores McCrae and Nixon, RS freshmen Murphy twins really progressing as the season goes on, Bean (SO) with another great game and an OL of entirely underclassmen dominating the LOS. We are gelling at the right time and it's the young guys making the difference.5 points

Brammer doing some work today. The Oline play is so much better than last year. Imagine Mason with this line.4 points

You have got to be kidding me. 4th and 28 and they rough the kicker ? Totally undisciplined.4 points

Love how the defense has responded after a slow start and now playing really well. Still not a huge fan of all silly dances, but as long as they are having fun and not drawing penalties then I am good. How about Kuehne on ST?3 points

Yeah. I was surprised that Adaway paused on that 3rd and 1. If he runs full steam, he makes that 1st down IMO.3 points

Can't believe this game is 10-7! Bean has really got some AWESOME wheels. Almost nothing went right in the first quarter, and now NT is within 3 only a few minutes in the second. If I were the owls I'd feel like I let NT off and now might easily pay for it.3 points

My daughter is being recruited for volleyball by several schools. UTSA just sent her a packet of info. I wanted to make sure she had seen the “cannon” video before she gets any ideas about them, but now I can’t find the video. Anyone on here have it?2 points

That just might be NTs best defensive effort in several years. pitching a shutout for about 3 quarters by now. And all of it with some important pieces not available. Novil with a MONSTER game. But also several others stepping up2 points

Aside from the penalty the defense has carried over the effort and enthusiasm from the MTSU game and showing signs of life. Starting to see the young guys flash more often, love the fight I am seeing from the team it would have been easy to fold if they didn't stop them on 4th down. GMG Let's win this thing2 points

We look like a team that hasn't played in 35 days. The offense has let the defense down a couple times now, a rice touchdown here could be the ballgame early.2 points

Well, he doesn't lack confidence or a grasp of hyperbole. 😂 "They love my speed my athleticism, and they know I can lock down whoever that is in front of me because of my great technique and beautiful ball skills," Wilson said.2 points

Just get them to our campus to view the sights of a 41,000 enrollment UNT along with the ever burgeoning & venues-rich Mean Green Village & some good stuff can really happen. We just have to make sure we don’t get in the way.2 points

https://247sports.com/college/north-texas/LongFormArticle/Preview-and-predictions-North-Texas-Mean-Green-football-finally-returns-faces-Rice-155073928/#155073928_3 North Texas is favored by a slight -1.5 margin, which is expected considering no one knows how this game is going to play out. I believe the Mean Green will play well, but the more I look at the matchups, the harder it is to find where their significant advantage is. Rice’s offense should be able to run, their pass game is dangerous, their run defense is stout, so in order for North Texas to win, they need to win the turnover battle and get into third and manageable to make it simple on Jason Bean. A shootout is a very real possibility, but can North Texas be disciplined enough to not make the mental mistakes that have ruined their chances in the past? I need to see it against a good team to believe it. MeanGreen247’s predictions: Matthew Brune: Rice 38, North Texas 28 Colin Mitchell: Rice 35, North Texas 321 point
