This is one of the Chargers beat writers. The team cut a WR many expected the fill their slot WR role this season. They drafted 2 slot wideouts this year, but to cut a player most picked to see a lot of reps is pretty surprising and looks to be good news for Jalen.6 points

It seems pretty hard to argue that the game is cancelled due to an Act of God when you're continuing to play games against other teams.3 points

what else would Texas A&M say, certainly not we are going to pay them every dime we owe them........3 points

I’m really interested to see what the AAC is going to do! I really want to keep the Houston and smu games. GMG2 points

Hell Mac didn’t even recruit DT. He was BY FAR the best quarterback of the Dan McCarney era and Mac didn’t have shit to do with it other than bringing in Cyril Lemon. Mac has Dodge to thank for finding and grooming Derek Thompson. Mac’s quarterbacks couldn’t throw their way out of a wet paper bag.2 points

Not a definitive moment. Just a moment for conspiracy theorists to see other conspiracy theorists go down to the virus. But that’s probably a conspiracy too...2 points

Been off the board for a while. The last time I was on there was a link that said "next unread topic." I don't see it anymore and certainly miss it. Has it been removed or is it just located somewhere else?2 points

Agree to a game in Apogee and let the Corp and fans fill the wing plus another 5,000 in the end zone plus. Call it a day. A&M played at Ford. “Live from Denton Texas USA and Apogee stadium it’s the Texas A&M fighting Aggies and the UNT Mean Green!!!!! Backup plan is get the game in the cotton bowl during the state fair. If we lose the Texas a7m , smut and UofH games we might have a better shot at a winning season.1 point

White House's pet Corona project shied away from a national strategy, believing that the virus was hitting Democratic states hardest and that they could blame governors. This is completely morally bankrupt. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/07/how-jared-kushners-secret-testing-plan-went-poof-into-thin-air1 point

Ouch. That's both morally bankrupt and fully ignores the science of disease spread. A virus that pops up in 188 countries isn't worried about politics and borders.1 point

Of course there is Fry. Tyler went to Texas Tech. Rust went on to be the HC at New England. Matt Simon did a fine job with the Baltimore Ravens until he was dismissed for passing locker room gossip. But yes, a HC job at North Texas is basically a career killer.1 point

Just a waste of time. This kid isn't coming to UNT unless something major happens. I don't get why we play this game. Recruiting has become a joke. No one follows any rules and it costs these AD's and universities a lot of money.1 point

Tell me that what Bernie Sanders and AOC is advocating is good ol socialism. They want to destroy our current system and replace it with total control. Or am I wrong? Green New Deal? I don't think so.1 point

There is no payout coming. But my guess is we agree to a new game in 2026 or so, or as soon as our schedules can match up. My guess is Big12 will announce the same policy as SEC just did shortly, so I really think we will be looking at a CUSA schedule. Though I would love to see a one year agreement to merge area schools from AAC,CUSA, and Sun Belt. To help reduce travel. Tulsa - AAC SMU - AAC Houston - AAC UTSA - CUSA Rice- CUSA LA Tech - CUSA Tulane - Sun Belt Texas State - Sun Belt Louisiana - Sun Belt Arkansas State - Sun Belt0 points
