It’s literally the argument used throughout history to oppress every minority group that’s ever existed.6 points

I’m glad we’re starting to play some games out West. Vegas weekend Baby! GMG2 points

I'm definitely not a "liberal"... "moderate", probably... but I like this place!2 points

Those first 5 listed above are just way tougher than the next 7, combined. And UTSA, while looking at us as their Super Bowl, is just terrible. They are probably only better than UTEP and HBU on our schedule.2 points

Washington's false teeth came from all sorts stuff - human, cow, horse, hippo, elephant, copper, tin, etc. Basically anything that was hard they tried to find some way to fashion into dentures.2 points

Rocket Mortgage Classic: Carlos Ortiz was not entered and Sebastian Munoz missed the cut. Workday Charity Classic: Both are entered in this week's event.1 point

With so many new players and coaches at key positions it’s next to impossible to know what kind of Mean green team takes the field in a few short weeks. Just my thoughts on toughest to easier game: 1. At - Texas A&M 2. At - Houston 3. At - UAB 4. Home - La Tech 5. Home - SMU 6. At - Middle Tennessee 7. At - UTSA 8. Home - Southern Miss 9. At UTEP 10. Rice 11. Charlotte 12. Houston Baptist I feel we get revenge against the ponies. Utep is always a tricky game out in the Sun Bowl. Houston and Aggie will be flat out tough. We play Southern Miss well in Denton. La Tech plays well in Denton. Rice and Charlotte are improved but we get them at Home. UAB and Middle are two places we never or rarely seem to win. GMG1 point

There is so much to market and Wren knows how to maximize opportunities. We are becoming a destination city, region and the fall is the best time to visit: 1. Expose your program to one of the countries richest recruiting regions. 2. Hang out in music rich Denton for the weekend - live music, brew houses and more. 3. Short drive to mega shopping in Dallas and Plano. 4. Catch some pro sports 🏈 ⚾️ ⚽️ If they happen to be in town that weekend. 5. Tour some history, The 6th Floor museum and Bush Library. 6. Tour headquarters and iconic sports venues. Help these middle/upper programs create an exciting weekend vision for their program and fans: Cal, Purdue, Missouri, Kentucky, Syracuse, BYU, Oregon, Va Tech, Minnesota, Pittsburgh. GMG1 point

It's not run by liberals, but they seem to be the majority that voices their complaints. Look at twitter (social media)..small % of population, but totally leans that way so it makes ya think the whole country believes that way1 point

Agree. Buechele could easily carve up our secondary pretty good this year. I don't see a win against the ponies.1 point

In the RV days, he’d have called Navy and gotten us that game up there and paid off Houston Baptist, then Navy would never return and we’d get Rhode Island or New Hampshire to come to Apogee.1 point

this whole "Greatest Country in the World" thing...what exactly is the metric we're using?1 point

LMAO now that is funny! How about the Washington Washington’s? They could have a face of George Washington on the helmet with a Cleveland Indians like shit eating grin. Of course, his grill would be wooden, even though we all know his actual dentures came from the teeth pulled out of his slaves mouths.1 point

This kid and the DT from Vann in OK might be my favorite offers at DT based on their videos. I hope he pulls the trigger.1 point

I wouldn’t say I am, or have been “outraged” at it, but I’m not a Native American. Optics are squarely on this topic now though. It’s a good time to reflect/think about it. So again, try someone else’s shoes on in this instance. How do you think you would feel about it?1 point

Nice story! Excited to see how our special teams perform this season.1 point

DeepGreen forgot to take his medication. Of course it was the Lone Ranger!1 point

Outraged may not be the right word, but the name has raised my eyebrows probably since I was a teenager, does that qualify? Thanks for proving my point, too.1 point

Ah the ole "your outrage is fake because you didn't protest in the streets 5 years ago" galaxy brained take, like we're all living in a static timeline where nothing changes and no one learns any new information throughout their lifetime. What's the cutoff date for when one had to speak up in order to support progress and hope for the name to be removed? What if I said the name should change on twitter or facebook in 2012 but not on gomeangreen.com, am I allowed to be outraged?1 point

I don’t think you have to have to be left or right to agree that “red skins” is kind of shocking. And it’s more shocking today.... The question is....do a large portion of Native Americans even care?1 point
-
I don’t really give a rats ass now... I was just making an observation.... And most of the “outrage” is fake anyway being that it’s the usual folks being “outraged”1 point
-
The fact that we still have a team called “The Redskins” is amazing. The NFL would fire someone photographed 30 years ago in “black face” but “red skins” is ok Their hypocrisy on this is equally amazing...1 point
-
Actually, it was the Lone Ranger who mistreated Tonto... even though Tonto saved his life... but, Ill bet he would have left him for the wolves if he'd known he was a entitled, white supremacist racist.1 point
-
Should the Redskins change their name? Yes. It's ridiculous that they've kept it for this long.1 point

Drop the A& M game in College Station and schedule Navy at Apogee.1 point

that seems silly. do you ever feel like there should be some sort of mechanism for you and your co-workers to organize a collective idea of job expectations, hours, compensation that would help reduce or even completely prevent these kind of situations...like, something that could help bring more parity in the labor force / management dynamic through some kinda uniform voice for the workers?1 point

One of the most misleading named threads ever. Where the AAC headquarters makes no difference to me. Other than this influx of entities moving to Texas might prove to be a liability in the future, at least for conservatives. .1 point

All schools are going to be hurting. However, we seem to have an AD in place that sees opportunity when available. The old NT would already have announced severe cuts. Even if cuts are coming at NT, the atmosphere is still positive right now. That is a huge difference between NT now and in the past. I think we are smart for sitting back and watching the cards fall before committing early to cuts. You never know what might happen. We have missed out on plenty of opportunities in the past because we simply were not ready to jump.1 point

Yeah the voluntary 5% deal isn't going to fly when you are asking students to pay full freight for tuition when all their classes are online.1 point

Imagine the list of companies that are started in the liberal highly educated coast cities? Really hard to imagine a Google, MS or Tesla coming out of Salina or Omaha. That is the FOX dream though.1 point

again...that's not what the first amendment says. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances at no point does the first amendment state or even imply that one can say anything they want with complete impunity and no fear of personal, professional or possibly bodily repercussions. he simply can't be jailed for vocalizing opinion/dissent/vulgarity. to your example...he can say anything ideological on the public square and he can actually scream "White Power" in a lecture and not be arrested/imprisoned...but he can lose privilege, his job and his place at a pubic or private institution. being kicked out of a public university is not tantamount to being arrested/imprisoned by the state. furthermore...the university is not compelled by the boycott to act. it can chose America First Students of Manhattan over the K. State football team. there are repercussions to both decisions, though.1 point
